Why are people so Happy about the cheese fix?
Lol I see the "legit" Crota Raiders jumping with joy and sticking it to players who cheesed and will no longer be able to cheese next week. In case you guys didn't know: [b][u]Even without cheese the raid is still easy [/u][/b]. So relax, anyone with access to YouTube can figure out what to do in about 5 minutes. The cheese getting moldy will only make the raid a little longer, not more difficult. After the first cheeseless week, everyone will know what to do and even the cheesiest of guardians will have the knowledge necessary to complete it. After that it will all be up to individual skill, teamwork, and communication. The same happened with Atheon, the same will happen with Crota. Not much is going to change.

4 RepliesPersonally, I think it unfair when people can put in different amounts of effort to achieve the same result. Compare cheesing to identity theft. if a salaryman works 16 hours a day to earn 40k a year then it is his right to feel cheated when some hacker earns the same amount in a day that the salaryman earns in a year. On a smaller timespan, cheesing is the same. Those who had to figure out how the raid works spent much more time and effort to get the same rewards.

3 RepliesI feel bad for people who have to cheese it. They make up all these excuses, I don't have time, I can't find a raid team that wants to do it legit, its more fun the cheat, your not gonna get good gear anyway, it's not worth it. Those are all lame ass excuses for not being able to do it legit. 70% of people who beat crota probably can't actually do it.

I'm happy for the fact that we actually get to play through and enjoy the raid. When the option to cheese is there a lot of people take it and if you couldn't find a fireteam that wanted to do it legit you were kinda stuck.

True, with a 6 party fire team, it is actually really easy. Especially when you have full raid gear.

What is supposed to be top end content should not be as glitched as the current CE is. I joined at the end & got the RL & cheesed the bridge & got the chest piece. I have no pride in that particularly but have taken the rewards obviously! That should not be possible though . Fair enough if it is going to be played as it always should have been.

7 RepliesOh but something will change. Crota's End will be fun again. Cheesing is quick and easy sure enough; but not very fun. Legit bridge and crota are both actually really fun encounters and rewarding when completed.

3 RepliesThat's true of some people. The new raid is nowhere near as challenging, imaginative or as fun as the Vault of Glass. My group have 'cheesed' it sometimes because we don't really enjoy it and wanted to get it over with, but whatever, it's not hard to do it normally. Maybe they'll add some new mechanics in hard mode to make it more enjoyable, but I doubt it.

2 RepliesPart of the reason most people still play and actually enjoy VoG, it seems people just do Crotas for the drops. Crotas just isn't 'fun' the way it is now.

They think they'll get their epeens back to wag around the tower. They're sad losers who lack real world accomplishments so over grasp at a digital one. It's easy and anyone who played and won and had fun did it right...but if you cheesed you missed hearing the cool sword music a few more times lol

1) Yes, it is easy but fixing the glitches basically goes a long way in stopping people from getting almost completely carried through. 2) The people who are hampered by their ethics are now going to be on an even playing field.

1 ReplyI don't care if the Raid is sponsored by Velveeta. Fix the other damn issues in teh game LEADING up to the raid. Fix the RNG, add PLOT, add PVE events, Fix the AMMO bug, add trading, pretend to be what you spouted in the commercials.

I'm glad because hopefully it will bring a little honor to carrying the new raid primaries. It will be brief but it will be there. And currently the cheeses take all of the actual fun out of doing the raid. It makes it all about drops (which almost everyone has now anyway) and not about actually playing. I don't have a full raid team so I use lfg sites and 90% of the time they all want to cheese. I don't care about the normal raid because I know it is a cake walk without cheeses but I'm hoping the hard raid will bring something a lil extra

its the cheese cycle of destiny new content releases -> new cheese discovered -> cheesing the hell outta it -> get rewards -> cheesers complain on forum about cheeses after getting everything with cheesing -> bungie steps in and patches cheese while creating new issues in the process , other bugs that are hindering players are ignored -> cheesers are happy that others cant cheese anymore for the same rewards -> new cheese discovered -> repeat

8 Repliesim on the same page as you, me and my friends did it legit. crota actually just need 1 person who has skill and all the other 5 members just shoot unlike atheon who you need at least 3 skilled players at least. im honest and we cheese it almost every time. the only time we beat it legit is when it was our first time doing it. yes each one of us actually did the sword. i would cheese it if there is a cheese. i would love the people who claims they have beaten it legit post a video of them actually doing the swords. i respect you for carrying the people who claimed they beat it legit but in reality they just shoot boomers and crota, its basically the same as cheesing since you did nothing but shoot at crota and boomer.
