do blue engrams drop exotic weapons
my buddy just opened a bunch of blue engrams after a couple vanguard strike and got hawk moon...
EDIT so people have been taking this question too literally as in calling me a Newby.to tell you the truth I've been here since the alpha and put quite some time into this game and it was possible to get them then, and on the Beta, and during the first week of broken cryptarch before he got patched, it have been a glitch or not I do not care. I'm asking other if they have had a similar circumstance in which oddities like this have happened to them.
EDIT: so there has been about 8 instances of this happening the fact thats its happening is interesting enough

This happened to me today. I got the footage saved and everything. Gonna upload it to fb. Got me a set of some kind of gauntlets for the warlock class. Pretty nice too considering my alt Warlock is only LL 364 and the one I got has a light level of 386.

1 ReplyYes it happened to me twice, a week ago I got A hawkmoon, and today I got A Nemisis star and both were from blues, but what I found was that it happened when I got a bunch of blue engrames around 15-30, so I'll try to save 30 and open them at the same time

I got a zhalo with those funky yellow combat skin options or whatever they are. That came from a blue engram from court of oryx. It's never happened up till now - the rise of iron update

2 RepliesThere used to be a glitch, where you'd take all your blue engrams and cash them in all at once. As you were cashing them in, if you got a legendary from the blue you immediately stop and cash in a legendary engram. If you did it right you got a guaranteed exotic

Yes.....sometimes cryptarch freaks out and I get 4 legendary in a row while decrypting blues. I had a legendary turn into an exotic too.
