Nerf Gjallarhorn! (thanks for listening to my requests bungie!) :D
The Gjallarhorn is a great gun. Maybe too great, it is my most humble opinion that the gun should be Nerfed to balance the playing field between other rocket launchers.

Ways to balance the weapon.
[b]Solution #1[/b]:
Reduce the number of Wolf Pack rounds to 3. This will give the weapon less damage to even the playing field between other rocket launchers.
Also reduce the velocity of the rockets by 20%.
[b]Solution #2[/b]:
Remove the tracking rounds on the Gjallahorn and lower the velocity on it.
The Wolf Pack rounds will track more aggressively bout will deal 10% less damage the before.
[b]Solution #3[/b]:
Reduce the overall weapon damage by 15% (including the Wolf Pack Rounds)
I think these solutions are fair and reasonable and will definitely level the playing field between other rocket launchers.

2 RepliesThe thing is if you need the gally then you would have to nerf the thunder lord. It has been proven that the thunder lord if hitting every shot on target. Does exact same amount of damage as gally horn. So why aren't people complaining about merging thunder lord?

19 RepliesThe only place balance matters is the crucible, truth is better than gally in there. Why does it matter if 6 people in a fire team playing pvp get a section done faster than a group of 6 with dragons breath? Pve is a one sided affair and doesn't need to be balanced at all. If you believe gally shouldn't be as strong when fighting crota don't use it. Same with your other nerf topics. Fatebringer juju etc are only OP in pve and you have the ability to choose not to use them without dragging everyone else into a nerfathon.

I don't see how this gun is so overpowered that so many people see it as needing a nerf, or why so many view it as necessary for high level content. It only slightly edges out guns like Hunger for the top heavy spot in PvE, and I'd rather have an MG or Truth for PvP. So no, it does not need a nerf any more than any other launcher, or other top tier gun. It's a good gun, but it doesn't break the game.

4 RepliesLol didnt even have to read to be on board, the gajigglyhorn is by far the most overrated weapon used by hunters who abandoned the fight at twilight gap and now rely on the armor of the dead guardians who needed the back up. Thanks hunters, keep on using that gajigglyhorn, this is the reason each one of your armor sets look like an enlarged version of 80's game bosses.

Its no longer enough to Nerf weapons because other players are butthurt. Now we have to consider the other weapons involved and how they feel. Shut the -blam!- up and sit the -blam!- down.

The [u]only[/u] reason I am against this [i]blatantly[/i] is because we nerf 3-5 guns for every one buff. And this game already trivializes end game level with its pseudo balancing.
