No reward for witch..... WTF
Right before you fight crota you have to kill this boss witch which took my group 2 hours to finish and there was no reward... Why bungie?

4 RepliesThe platform where crota spawns with all the rubble is your secret hideout and base of operations for that part. Everyone just go straight there and send in two people to lure out the first wizards. Once that's done, kill the shreikers as fast as possible, then on to the wizard. Bam. 5 minutes tops

I like to do the raid up to that point then abandon the group and find someone else with Crota checkpoint. Less of a pain in the ass to be honest.

Killing Knights seemed to slow but downing both wizards and shriekers left us swamped with too many adds once we wanted to finish off the boss. Edit: Yes you fools, there ARE a few instances where "Witches" exist and their name plates show as such. Otherwise, the majority of that type of enemies are clearly labeled Wizards. Learn to vocalize what you actually see in front of you and not just mindless jabber come flowing from your mouth as you play. Edit: This is actually getting hilarious, lol. Truthfully I don't care if people want to keep calling them the wrong thing, but I just won't acknowledge them speaking in a party, or constantly repeat what they say replaced with Wizards, lol. Blah blah blah, keep commenting away, fools! I'm enjoying slaughtering you with semantics on how you're still wrong, lol.

Bridge has 2 loot points which is kinda -blam!-ed up i think since doing wizards is obsolete

It's a useless cp in the game and if you get through to crota you might as well save the cp with another character, or join someone with that cp after the bridge. I hope it's just a bug bit it's probably not

I just call then bitches since they are wizards but they sound like witches and they are indeed annoying as -blam!- so I think bitch is a good term to refer to them as. But, I also feel like there may be some sort of challenge associated with the mini boss that could possibly unlock a chest which may or may not be hidden if not false.

Bungie clean it up.....this encounter is similar to that of the Templar (mid-boss encounter). Outside of fighting Crota, this is the most difficult challenge in the raid. Why wouldn't you have a reward for it? The decisions made are just baffling........ In my experience, this typically happens allot when product managers become OP in their role and decide THEY know what's best for their consumers. Get a clue.........will ya? Did it ever occur to you that if their are no rewards.....then people will just skip this section. You are the developers of the game and it's like you don't even understand how the own mechanics of your raids/checkpoints work. Why would people continually grind away at something to receive nothing? Not even XP? You really should be embarrassed.....Bug fixes I understand (specially considering the amount of platforms Destiny is supported on). This portion of the raid has turned into a very long cutscene.....one in which we can skip. Please explain to me again why you haven't allowed us to skip cutscenes? More Vault space, that would be nice.......the simple things......

Meh. Bungie wanted to make sure more gear dropped in the chests that they gave. If they had 5 chests, people would get all the raid gear in 1-2 runs. It's the same principle as when they "fixed" the purple engrams. They guaranteed that they would be legendary stuff but they lowered the drop rate for purple engrams. People complained about VOG drops, so they guarantee a higher chance at gear from the chests but balance that out with fewer chests...

You can get 2 chests and 2 lootphase within the first 15-20minutes.(solo if you want). The witch is not that hard

Yes it is an extremely hard part of the raid and no reward is just a stupid idea on bungies part because everyone will just grab the Crota checkpoint like the oracle checkpoint in vog

2 RepliesEdited by calisk: 12/15/2014 2:38:29 PMI look at it as the conflluxes in VOG. for some groups the confluxes are very hard, for others it might be the gorgons, either way these somewhat difficult battles don't reward the players. I've seen bad groups flop around for an hour on the confluxes to get nothing because it's not rewarded. in the case of the singer, it's a 3 minute segment, and if you know how to do it it goes quickly and easily, it's faster to do then confluxes. anyway make your own conclusions.
