Even their hardest content can best be described as punishing rather than actually challenging. The Raid requires everyone to perform in perfect lockstep to one set "right" path. The Strike bosses have a ridiculous amount of health and do insane amounts of damage while they barely move. The Nightfall is only hard when an enemy deals the type of damage that corresponds with the active Burn. This is all artificial, designed to fill your brain with dopamine when you complete it, but not caring about whether the experience of fighting the enemy itself was engaging and fun. Considering the fact that a large part of the endgame revolves around grinding Strikes, I think this is the biggest reason why I haven't played the game since Tuesday. I just can't do the same 5 missions repeatedly for the next 2 years while they whip up another title with the same flawed mechanics.

When they had the archon priest up on nightfall, that was legit one of the hardest thing me n my team have ever done, 7 tries and the try that won was close to an hour, we praied never to have to deal with that shiet again

It was hard, sure. But the reason why it was hard was largely because of a simple damage multiplier. It wasn't because the enemies suddenly had a brain. Kind of like how even Elites were silly pushovers on Easy in Halo, but on Legendary that were cunning masterminds. None of that brand of fun is to be had here.

Not to mention the shields and splash damage, shields arent terrible when youve the right gun, plroblem is habing the right gun :I And dont even get me started on splash being super effective T-T

Couldnt have said it better myself. Im pretty sure ive passed kidney stones that were more fun. The thorn bounty is ridiculous. 100 void kills with death penalty in a fractured pvp system is as much fun as a prison shower. Fail.
