I've enjoyed what I've played, I'm a level 11 hunter now I think. But honestly, I'm losing interest fast. I'm only part way through the moon missions and I've gone back to Watch Dogs. The missions are all *exactly* the same: Head out, find bad guys along the way and kill, find mission goal, deploy ghost/kill baddies or kill baddies/deploy ghost, rinse, repeat.
Same exact thing over and over and over. I get that this is a FPS, but come on. Some variation and actual interesting missions would be really nice. Plus the environments are utterly devoid of anything but nice graphics. I can't interact with anything, the worlds are completely sterile and boring. There's paths that lead all over but never go anywhere interesting, there's caves with invisible walls at the mouth or that are empty, there's buildings I can't go into or get on top of... so vanilla. I want to love Destiny, but it's losing me fast.

Well I hit it hard even fell asleep twice during the campaign. I have never had that before on any other game. I stopped playing the campaign in hopes to wake up with multilayer. That was ok until I hit level 20. I looked at my game options and relized; If I played this to the end (campaign) I will not pick it up again. So re playability is zero. That says alot from a gamer who ground it out for Recon on ODST for days, weeks and months just to get recon helmet. If I had invested for 10 years in this game, I would seriously be concerned. This game is in one word a match. Burns bright and fast then nothing grabbing you to come back. O who ever designed the armor/gear needs to be let go. I am a huge Bungie fan also will be but this doesn't seem to match their brilliance. Just Some Guy

Edited by Bashea: 9/16/2014 4:03:14 PMThe game is big, just have to focus on a lot of things, the story isn't the whole game (:

Ok, I was sucked back in and I am now saying the game opens up just like Bungie said after level 20! I am Level 24 and I am loving the game. The game makes you value good gear (powers) and the gear design is getting much better. After Bungie releases the next mutiplayer maps packs this will get even better and better. Bungie will be releasing new Strikes, New Raids, New Muti Player maps etc... from hear forth. None Stop! Well done Bungie, its takes real time to see what they are doing. A Perfect blend of Halo/Star Wars/ Guardians The Movie!-Riptide JN 3v16

Yeah, this game is all about the endgame content and the quest for better gear. It takes time for the full content of MMOs to be released, and that is exactly what Destiny is: an MMOFPS. Join a clan(guild), do raids, get loot. Games like this are better with people. Don't fall in with the people who complain, they just lack patience.

I see where you're coming from, but the moon and earth is so small of the game. You are a low level, you're very limited to what you can do, but when you get the right level, it'll turn around. Just have to push trough There's plenty of things to do Rep grind for legendaries (Lv. 20+) Do Strike Que PvP Grab some new buddies, or join a clan in these forums. Chill in the lobby Do the new Jumping puzzle (Haven't been able to do it yet because of college, don't know anything about it) and a lot of other things I can't list right now. Constantly doing strikes and Patrol missions is a good way for gear and reputation with your current faction you're grinding for, as in.. Vanguard (Default for most areas) Dead Orbit (PvP) New Monarchy FWC Future War Cult Reasoning for these different reputations: They have different stats in the legendary, if you run around and check, I forgot the different types of gear between each gear.
