Most users on this forum don't understand the significance of what Bungie's timed/not so timed PS4 exclusives mean... Especially to Xbox owners. Back in the day, Bungie was a "respected" game company. When Halo hit, Bungie blew off the charts. Why is that relevant?
Here's 3 reasons:
1. Xbox owners literally made Bungie who they are today. Face it, Destiny wouldn't be what it is without us Xbox peons. It seems Bungie has forgotten that fact.
2. The whole "it's not Bungie's fault!" BS. Gimme a break! As if Bungie is just some pawn being played in a game. If that's true, Bungie has fallen far... Which makes me question my loyalty in the first place. Isn't "loyalty" a two-way street?
3. It's the principle of the matter. How can a gaming company turn their back on an entire fan base that propelled them to stardom? Do you support/not care about what's happening here? You'd fit right in a Game of Thrones episode.
All in all... As an Xbox owner... This sucks!

Edited by Malismo: 6/21/2014 5:33:03 PMEntitlement is a bitch, one who bites only the one wielding it. It is just business, money makes the world go around as I mentioned in another thread. Any company does whatever they can to expand their market, this is what it obviously takes in the maker's/publisher's opinion, Xbox is already their established market, so the extras go into the expansion of said market to PS. It will all normalize and might even be revised entirely if sales numbers require a different strategy. Don't forget they are publishing for Xbox, even 360, they could have also not done that. Edit: to avoid any possible easy retorts, I am a Xbox 360 owner, have the One in pre-order, since its release is slow here, I also own a PSP and a gaming rig PC. It is about the games not the platforms you see, you use the tool necessary for the task at hand. I would, however, love to see true platform independence, but this is a cost benefit problem from a business standpoint, if it would be easy and cost efficient, Bungie and others would have done it already
