2 RepliesThey are guid lines and i believe that parents should decide what there kid is aloud to do
-
3 RepliesReally you want to see people get imprisoned for playing a rated M game under 17 it is up to the parents and you need to be mature enough to play those games.
-
2 RepliesImprisonment? No.
-
"What do u think?" I think you're an idiot.
-
1 ReplyDONT YOU FAKEN DARE BE LIKE LONGFACE!!!!!!!
-
4 RepliesDude you're like o_________o on steroids, calm down.
-
3 RepliesLemme ask you a question. How old were you when you started playing M rated games?
-
Dude if that happened a lot of the population would be in jail which could cause a major out brake and riot which makes things worse
-
3 RepliesI know 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 year olds who are less mature than a 13 year old. I know you are trolling but this is just ridiculous.
-
See, this is why we need something to reignite the fire that was #Destiny

Edited by HeadlessFire: 2/27/2014 11:36:09 PMThough I respect the goals that the ESRB rating system has in mind (GTA not getting into the hands of 5-year olds and the like), I view the system as a tad strict. I have viewed the system myself, and disagree in some cases with the ESRB. I myself am 16, though play games that are rated mature.
-
lolnope.
-
1 ReplyEh, that would destroy COD's fanbase, so sure.
-
I'm fine with it.

1 ReplyNo nanny states can go f*** themselves
-
Somebody's feeling entitled.

3 RepliesThis is stupidity, just because the ESRB thinks that 13 year olds shouldn't hear sex jokes doesn't make them right. Personally, I find that barring a topic simply based on age just doesn't make sense because its "maturity level" is debatable. Some parents shield their kids from sex, while others are open and informative of it, neither is "right" in a sense, just a preference. It should ultimately be up to the parents, and to make it illegal for them to decide would be an egregious breach of parental freedom.

10 RepliesI do think it's bad when kids are playing M games, but it's not a bad enough effect on them to even consider imprisonment or even a fine.
-
wrong forum
-
2 RepliesOr maybe parents just need to do their damn job and not buy their kids M rated games in the first place.
-
Edited by Astro4545: 2/27/2014 4:29:17 PMThey do need to reinforce the ratings, but they also need broader ratings. I would have the rating be 5+,10+,13+,16+,18+, and 21+.

5 Replies1. New bait pl0x. You're not the first one on here to propose such a stupid idea. 2. But then you wouldn't be able to play Destiny, isn't that you want OP?
-
Yeah you have fun with that
-
I don't think that a law like that could happen You can't put someone in jail for going to an R rated movie if their under age
-
Nope. They would need a law to get passed by congress (or whatever the country you live in calls its government). Given the fact that congress does nothing but sit on its ass, the bill will probably never reach congress/the president in the first place. And if it does, it will almost certainly get turned down.
