Shit I was playing halo 2 in 7th grade and I had halo CE and an Xbox on day one in fifth grade...the problem today is that computers are engulfing the youth whereas in the early 2000s Xbox was around but Internet was not as prevalent and involved in our lives. Children now are overweight, lack drive, and are generally unmotivated...while not speaking in absolutes I might an 8 year old fluent in mandarin and french and plays x1 on the weekend...he's a very good sniper and I speak mandarin with him as he is helping me learn it XD as a summer associate in a law firm he is the spark of light surrounded by dark; the darkness being 95% of American youth....-blam!- serb rating, there should be a law that limits youth video game play times to only a few hours on the weekend/ holidays

Over 40% of all Mature games audiences are kids under the suggested rating. That would be ridiculous and it would literally benefit nobody economically other than whoever receives the majority of the fine. I don't really think you thought this one over very well when you take into account that the games would make terrible profit.

2 Replies1) We all played M games before we should have. 2) ESRB ratings are laughable. There's no reason Halo should be rated M, while games like Watch_Dogs, that have tons of swearing and nudity, shares the same rating. 3) There's almost no way you can monitor someone below the age limit playing an M rated game.

I have to say finally someone on the forums with some balls. Good! We have a rating system in the USA but how would the Adult or patents get caught. I am all for this. People are stupid to the point they willingly and freely put PS4 cameras in thier home or what ever that eye bar camera thing is. Or the Kinetic. use these things to bust people dumb enough to have them in thier homes. Also if your ipad or smart phone, laptop has a camera on it and there is power in the batteries you can seen, think on that.

some kids are more mature than their parents, for example, my dad thinks that Mario Bros needs more skill than Halo 2 LASO, or my dad pull childishly practical jokes to turn of my lights when I turn on my lights(he change the switch format by turning it upside down), and say that I need to man up, help him out and accompany him while I'm ALWAYS the one being left at home in midnight with literally no one except me(he said that he felt lonely at home alone(my mom and dad didn't stay in one home)), that's not counting homeworks that I'm not capable of doing, oh by the way, he came back the next night, I cook my own food, and that's when I'm only 10/11, I know some will say, it's no matter, you are still young, so what? these "mature" shooter games is the only thing that keeps me sane enough, and I'm not gonna stop, even if this will be enforced, what will make Destiny improved? adults has better teamwork? nah, I play with my brother better than my dad with his brother or my mother, communicating skills? nah, it's just a matter of education, gamplay wise? no, I never let my dad play beside my for a reason, he play games, but he's not as good as I am or my brother, the only thing that can improve Destiny and other games is gamers need the will to tolerate, to learn new stuffs, to cooperate, to play fair. not become grown ups or rules, it doesn't matter, even my dad allows me to play online in BF3 because he know I'm ready, I can control myself from swearing, I will no do stupid things in game or real life. he know he isn't ready, he can't play it, he frustrates easily, he can't control his anger many times(hell, every small traffic we got into make him swears.. a lot note: I waste some of my time commenting to this, if you are for real, it was worth it, if you are a troll, it's fine, besides ESRB ratings are rating that this game is suitable to this kind of age, not ONLY for this age and beyond

That'd be horrible! I'm 13 and a lot of times the only problem with games is violence and it's not like it's poisoning me. And if the problems cussing literally everything has cuss words games, movies, music, YouTube, friends, adults everything
