I want destiny to be as reasonably realistic as possible. One of the things that would make it somewhat realistic is to get rid of instant respawning. Players should feel like staying alive is worth it, they should be forced to think about their tactics seriously. That's why I think there should be a 24 spawn system.
Basically if you die, you can't respawn for another 24 hours. This would add a lot of depth to the game as it forces people to completely rethink their tactics. It would also be a nice touch if the player loses any rare items they had equipped at the time of death. What do you guys think of this idea?

Edited by twinPrimesAreEz: 2/9/2015 11:14:26 PMNot good enough. In real life if you die you don't come back. It should be the same in Destiny. It should be one death and your character is erased amiriteguiz?

this is not a gaming that they need to make realistic. Maybe like dayz but not this
-
You are shining example of why retarded kids like you should all be put in a rubber padded cell and then shaken violently till you all die.
-
Who necro bumped this? The post is over a year old people, let it die!
-
1 ReplyHow about if you die, your console fires the disc at you as punishment. That would probably make me wanna be a bit more careful.

If you want it to be so realistic, why not do it in real life? If all video games were super realistic, then that would defeat the purpose of video games. It's like saying you any rewind a movie and you can only watch it once in your entire life.

Let's turn destiny into candy crush!

Long term or permanent death is severely unrealistic and broken. Great, skilled people even die bc of small mistakes... The game would tank, and Activision, Bungie, and everyone who bought the game will have wasted alot of money. Repetition and dying repeatedly is what's building your skill. Persistent opportunity. This idea won't uphold any kind of game or developer's revenue for a particular software ever... Common sense? Topic post for lols?

Haha. I like this troll! +1

Might as well do a hardcore destiny if you die your character is deleted.

What about crucible everyone dies in crucible lol unless there's someone who's that pro but seriously no
-
U sir are retarded

Don't feed the trolls, they're hungry this time of year!

It would also cause destiny to lose all those precious hours per week that they like to brag about, and make their catering to casuals not work too well
-
" take Croats shield down.... Wait... NOW!" Wtf?! Who popped a bubble!!!!!!! Oh dvldawg is still alive... Dikc
-
although this is a stupid idea to just implement into the current game, adding a hardcore mode where death is permanent might be a good idea.
-
Terrible idea. I'd trash this game
-
Umm... It's a magic, arcadeish, fun game. Not über realism. I thought this was initially going to be about like a 40 second timer on crucible.

They should implement a microtransaction system for the impatient noobs. You wanna play, you gotta pay.

Please do this. Also I will push any and all sunsingers of cliffs because I'm petty.
