You just get lolXP for Halo 4.
You can get an Emblem and a weapon skin for Halo 4, but you need to buy the Champions Bundle to use them.

Halo: Spartan Assault is a pretty fun game. Mind you, I've only played it for a couple hours but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. :-)

Edited by BasedLove: 12/23/2013 7:21:29 AMI don't like the art style. It looks ripped off the Clone Wars cartoon.

I only play real Halo games. SA isn't even on my radar.

There's also You know the actual game

That's Microshit for you.

SA is awesome on Windows 8 devices! I'm glad it came to 360 & X1
-
Not exactly a ripoff just because of a weapon skin and emblem.
You just get lolXP for Halo 4. The price of the game justifies the type of game it is and fow what system it is. Are you literally 12 years old or something? Only caring about XP an emblem and a weapon skin?

10 RepliesIts basically Halo Wars except it has to do with the UNSC Infinity/Master Chief story. In other words (If you can't tell my 5th grade typing): It's a 3rd person shooter (like Halo wars) and it takes place between Halo's 3 and 4. Still looks crappy but I will just have to see once I get it for X360 and/or XB1.

Edited by Caayn: 12/7/2013 12:37:45 AMAlthough Spartan Assault is a somewhat fun game for short sessions. It feels like a complete rip-off. Seeing some of the weapons/abilities locked behind a paywall is disgusting. Especially with the price tag it carries, and the one time use of the items. Seriously who thought it was a good idea to make micro-transactions "consumable" O_o Personal note: MS get working on cross-buy support. It's really annoying that I'm not even getting a single cent discount if I want to buy the console version, after buying both the WP8 and W8 versions.

It's an actually fun game, but it really depends on what system you get it for. I got it for my Windows 8 Phone, got to Operation D, and kind-of got sick of the controls (I naturally hate phone games, anyways). With Spartan Assault on it's way to the Xbox One, however, an experience more opted for the hardcore is going to be available (ie Co-Op mode, and having a controller in your hands rather than touch-screen play). You should try and get into it on the Xbox One, and look past the Halo 4 rewards. If all you're getting is JUST a stance and weapon skin, you'd be smart to recognize that the game isn't JUST for those rewards.

And a full game...

I played a little of it and it was just so........ Lame

Suits who love money in charge of another's vision? What could go wrong?

Edited by The Random: 8/29/2013 2:53:54 AMI've always thought of Spartan Assault as a game created for the sole purpose to help sell Windows 8, since it wasn't for the Xbox LIVE arcade. Not wasting my money.
-
It is going to be in the Xbox Live Arcade this upcoming December!
-
1 ReplyI haven't played it, I'm not gonna download OS Windows 8 for it. Screw that.
-
3 RepliesBtw it's called gaylol: spartan asshole assault

Never played it. Never will.

Old news bro

You bought it, your fault. You shouldn't have expected anything less than trash coming from 343i.

8 RepliesAnd on top of that you actually have to pay for the rocket launcher and spartan laser. It's really sad to see microtransactions finally make it into Halo.
