Here are some steps that might help out:
Check server status

PlayStation Network: https://status.playstation.com
Restore licenses on PS5 (this has fixed Bungie-game login after PS updates for lots of players)
PS5: Settings → Users and Accounts → Other → Restore Licenses → let it finish.
Fully power off PS5 (not Rest Mode), wait 30 seconds, turn it back on.
Try Destiny 2, then Marathon again.
Sign out/in of PSN
Settings → Users and Accounts → Sign Out
Reboot PS5, then sign back into PSN and launch the games.
Confirm subscriptions / account
Make sure your PlayStation Plus / Game Pass (if applicable) is active; Marathon will refuse connections (e.g., STINGRAY-type situations) if the platform subscription it expects is expired.
If you have another PSN account on the same console, test D2/Marathon with that account; if it works there, the issue is specific to your main PSN entitlements and Sony support will need to fix it.
