Goodbye Destiny.
After years of not doing absolutely nothing except Final Shape to maybe make Destiny a game to rival other games Bungie has killed their own creation.
Sony now has everything they need to relegate Destiny as a failure which it is. Not saying it should be but when you have former heads of the game that have made millions in severance packages and not give any sympathy for the players who they duped into playing a game based on false premises of getting better?
It’s been nothing but greedy people who sold a game on a lie and walked away with what I’d actually call a small -blam!- dream of a car collection and a few that know they did the player community wrong.
It’s just so really sad that the vision of this game and the studio who said they would always do better have done the players who believed in them so wrong.

No one was duped! the writting has been on the wall for more than a while now and: My self and other have been broadcasting it for that last 3 expansions. It is not like no one ever said anything about the increase in difficulty, the bad decisions, the player number falling off or the way the devs have talked about laughing when players are unhappy. I mean realistically, if you are surprised by this than I have ask, where have you been the last 3 years? Have you read nothing about the company or lay offs, or law suits or redit, X or here? I hope you find something you really enjoy playing. I once upon a time hoped Bungie would see the light, but that did not happen and I am not convinced they see it now. Even if the June update which will be 3 months late is ALL THAT, it will not help. Too many players have left and are not coming back.

But now it's actually got to the stage where there is no turning back for Destiny, the saddest thing of all, are the people who are still in denial. "Mad people laughing at clowns" represents a deeply chaotic, ironic, or desperate scene where the distinction between the performer and the audience dissolves, often symbolizing a society or individual in crisis. It highlights a moment where absurdity, despair, and madness meet in a release of pent-up tension. The people who belittle posts like this are, and have always been, the mad people after all. I'm wondering if these nut jobs will crawl over to defend Marathon when Destiny finally passes away.
