fireteam finder issue

since you removed the option to switch for the old original version of D2companion fireteam finder (which worked VERY well, by the way) can you stop responding to that bug as if it were an individual connection problem that rarely occurs and FIX THE FIRETEAM FINDER!! It should be considered an absolute priority that this service functions well and fast. imagine spending 30min to fill your fireteam finder lobby and then u get the something went wrong error and your lobby is closed and u have literally no option to join back these players that u searched for 30min.like yeah do it again guardian no1 care. D2companion old version didnt have this issue which is the worst part of your lfg finder right now . *copied from another post , my english not forst language . When using Fireteam Finder to assemble a raid team, IT HAPPENS FOR ALL ACTIVITIES EVEN THE TOWER IF THE FIRETEAM FINDER LISTING IS STILL OPEN AFTER RAID IS COMPLETE, launching the activity frequently fails. If players join via Fireteam Finder invite or Summon Fireteam, the Launch button begins flashing and cannot be pressed. The activity cannot be started during this state. We suspect it due to someone being in their inventory when the fireteam leader clicks on the raid, BUT this could not be true its just a guess. Changing the Fireteam Leader does NOT resolve the issue. The only known workarounds are: - Cancel the Fireteam Finder listing and manually reinvite all players - Wait approximately 30 seconds to 2 minutes until the Launch button eventually becomes usable In many cases this also occurs alongside another issue where the game and API fail to recognize that the raid has launched, leaving the fireteam stuck in orbit. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a Fireteam Finder listing for a raid 2. Allow players to join via Invite or Summon Fireteam 3. Attempt to launch the activity once the fireteam is full Expected Result: The Launch button should become available immediately once the fireteam is ready, and launching the raid should move all players into the activity normally. Actual Result: - The Launch button flashes and cannot be pressed - Changing Fireteam Leader does not fix the issue - The button may become usable after 30 seconds to 2 minutes, or the listing must be cancelled and everyone reinvited manually Additional Issue: Sometimes the raid launch is not recognized by the game or API: - The fireteam remains stuck in orbit for 5+ minutes or indefinitely - Sometimes only one player loads in or no one loads in at all - The only reliable workaround is switching characters, rebuilding the fireteam, and trying again Impact: This causes major delays when forming raid groups and makes Fireteam Finder unreliable for raid launches. Additional Notes: This issue is easily reproducible and occurs around 90% of the time when using Fireteam Finder for raids. Request: Please investigate the Fireteam Finder launch state and API activity recognition issues, as they significantly impact raid group formation and activity launches. yes i used AI to write this due to my last post not being posted and i got mad and didn't wanna rewrite it xd.

  • Hi there, Thank you for reaching out, We’re aware of ongoing issues where Fireteam Finder listings can get stuck in a bad launch state, and are currently investigating. If you see this again, please include your platform, region, and a short clip or screenshot showing the flashing Launch button / stuck‑in‑orbit behavior — that kind of evidence makes it much easier for engineers to pin down what’s going wrong and improve Fireteam Finder’s reliability.
