Linked account
My account was hacked not long ago and manage to recover it (Steam). When I log into Destiny. I saw an "Link account" which is not mine (It's from XBOX). And yes my some of stuff is gone so, RIP I guess. Now I just want that account to be unlinked for God sake. And now Bungie has new update on those linked account can't be unlinked. So how? You mean that Linked user can still access through Xbox just like that? I've been playing this game for years since D1 and thousand of hours, and now just because of unable to unlink that account that isn't mine so that other guy can have fun on my account?

In your case, the above change is meaningless as prior to the change even being implemented you couldn't unlink accounts that you don't have the login information for to be able to authenticate them. Bungie will not unlink the account and there are no exceptions being made. The Xbox account will unfortunately have permanent access to your account. You may want to seek support from Xbox to see if they can ban the account.
