Worst bit is if bungie hadn't sunset armor to start with aka build crafting or made pinnacle farming for tier 5s more headache than its worth ,the game would still have players, bungie ruined any fun in this game when players had to use modifiers on top of the ultimate difficulty to feel rewarded in anything pinnacle wise

Destiny wasn't sacraficed for marathon. Destiny got down scaled based on its performance as a business model. With dlcs failing to meet sales targets and evaverse not making near enough. Bungie and Sony rightfully are giving Destiny less attention. At the end of the day Destiny is a product and that product dosent peform well enough to justify a bigger budget.
