There are many players like me that I’ve invested well over 14,000 hours of destiny It has been my life game since its inception. Since Bungie was gonna concentrate solely on Destiny when they gave up on halo for destiny. If marathon overshadows destiny and they push out the so-called Extension For “shadow and order”. cough cough whatever the new name is gonna be called, I might have to actually consider this final payment to destiny… My $100 a year investment not including the shop stuff, gone …. just like me there are millions of destiny players so when you add that up, that’s a lot of Financial loss. Aside from user engagement. If they’re gonna just focus solely on an extra extraction shooter that they feel is their new bread and butter, Then I will sadly take my business elsewhere… I won’t delete my account or anything like that stupidly but I just won’t be a paying Customer anymore and rarely logging on….. If they feel that the PVE community portion is not worth their effort, then that’s where they put their money where their mouth is…. We will have to see if and how long marathon lives after the actual game launches financially instead of being a free to play. While marathon lives , destiny dies , because now we see what happened with gambit and PVP maps. All those resources went to Marathon. I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels that way but I am sadly disappointed in the developers at Bungie. “Destiny Rising” cost 100m to make and only got around 12mil in revenue with the monthly earning dropping 80% … That’s gotta tell you something right there of what to expect….. Should I still hold a candle for destiny 2? I’m just feeling drained at this point.
