Hello,
I am requesting the unlinking of a Steam account currently connected to my Bungie.net profile.
My Bungie account is many years old, and I no longer have access to the Steam account that is linked to it. I understand that Bungie currently states that certain linked accounts cannot be unlinked. However, under Brazilian consumer protection law (Código de Defesa do Consumidor – Law No. 8.078/1990), users have the right to access, correct, and manage their personal data and account associations.
Preventing a user from unlinking an inaccessible third-party account effectively restricts access and control over their own digital account and personal data.
I am formally requesting:
The manual unlinking of the Steam account from my Bungie.net profile; or
A clear legal justification explaining why this request cannot be fulfilled under Brazilian law.
If necessary, I am prepared to pursue this matter through the appropriate consumer protection authorities in Brazil.
I hope we can resolve this amicably and efficiently.
Thank you for your attention.

You can submit a privacy request directly to Bungie by: - Filling in this form, - Emailing it to privacyrequests@bungie.com, or - Sending it by mail to:
Privacy Requests Bungie, Inc. 550 106th Avenue NE, Suite 108 Bellevue, WA 98004-5088
If Bungie refuse your request, which given their stance on not unlinking the account is the expected outcome unless they're forced to by a court/local agency then you will need to seek out your countries agency/department for consumer rights, I believe that agency for Brazil is called Procon, for them to investigate whether or not there have been any right violations with Bungies response.
