you could also try using Mothkeeper's Wraps, use Strand subclass, have high grenade stats. You'll have two grenades that spawn two moths, one protects you the other explodes enemies. If you build into this you can have near infinite grenades and never die or become next to tank like for a hunter.

Ok my fellow hunter here's some tips. You have renewal grasps on and a void subclass. Renewal grasp are for stasis subclass. For void use orphius rigs or graviton forfeit which makes invis last longer. Set your void subclass up to where picking up an orb of power grants devour. With devour you should be able to stay alive longer plus use your invisibility. Any more questions im down to go over a solid build with you. Maybe copy my hunter on my profile. Also never run double primary weapons, it handicaps you severly.

Hunters are the trickiest class in my opinion, but they have very solid build. You can check the one I have currently, it’s been my favorite for a few weeks now, I’ve cleared GM at -50 with it, outscoring warlock with gateway. No Praxic blade, no shiny pants. Pure gun based and prismatic. I wasn’t expecting it but that’s been a favorite of mine.
