Ornament Vanished.
I use to play way back in the day and I pledged to Dead Orbit to unlock the Anti Extinction Set. then I went to unlock each Ornament for said set.
When I came back I looked at my ornament on my helm and unequipped it now it wont let me put it back on. even though its in my collections. I had spare ornaments in my stash so I used one for the helm but still its not there. am I SOL or is there a way to equip it again or obtain another through grinding?

In theory the Extinction Orbit cosmetics should always be equippable on Anti-Extinction gear pieces but for a gear piece that's obsolete, that might not be worth pursuing. Bungie maybe never even considered how they'd handle ornaments here and now. Instead find up to date gear and convert those Y1 Armor Ornaments into Universal Ornaments so they can be used on any legendary helmet, no matter what the base helmet is. You're nerfing your stats otherwise.
