The new origin trait Accelerated Assault is BUGGED. Yes it auto loads but you LOSE ammo. Go to the range and use it with the rocket pulse psi aetrrna I’ve. You start with 14 total shots but using it with the origin trait only lets you shoot 12. Yes you can shoot them all at once but you lose 2 shots in the process. And I’m not saying you only get 12 shots when you grab the flag. You get the full 14 but if you shoot them all it only shoots 12!!!

The interesting thing is that with sustained damage on a single target one can get three partial-reloads before reaching an empty mag which would suggest that three ammo should be lost instead of the two observed, however the third partial-reload refills two ammo (before subtracting one from the mag) at the cost of only one ammo being subtracted from reserves; the first and second activation of the partial-reload each remove two ammo from reserves while reloading two (and again, immediately subtracting one from the mag each time). I then tested this same set up while switching to Extended Mag meaning I started with six ammo in the mag and observed that the fourth consecutive partial-reload behaved in the same manner as the first and second, leading to a total loss of three ammo (or eleven total volleys that can be fired out of fourteen at max ammo). Edit: Now with link to video of the above behavior with both five and six round magazines: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DTRihIXkTiA/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ== (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Not surprising. Doesn't it share an icon with one of the armor set bonuses? Seems to me that it was a last minute addition and was not tested.
