A sincere Thank you to Bungie for Renegades

I have been playing Destiny since early D1, through launch of D2, to now. Never missed a DLC. I have to say, for me the game was falling off for a while now. My long time love of the game kept me coming back, but the overall feel of the game was not as fulfilling as it once was. Probably not since Forsaken and Witch Queen. The Final Shape was very good, but it was also the wrap up of the story I had been a part of since the start, so I wasn't sure where it would go from there. The raid in Final Shape was not fun for me personally. It felt complicated for the sake of being complicated. I like mechanics and figuring out how to fight something, but this felt different and not fun. Edge of Fate was interesting to a degree, but I felt like a miss for me. The Mythic content was not enjoyable. Enemies were just bullet sponges, which is not very fun. The story was interesting, but it didn't really feel like a direction? If that makes sense. I was starting to lose interest in the game again and had almost stopped playing entirely. Renegades has renewed my hope. Maybe its the Star Wars vibe that hooked me, but the dlc has had me hooked. The gameplay feels great, the seasonal game modes with the jobs for the syndicates is fun and the invader aspect is a nice spice. The Star Wars theme was absolutely nailed. It felt like both a Star Wars story AND a Destiny story. I feel like it is such a good direction for the game. It felt fresh, but familiar. I haven't had this much fun in Destiny in a long time. The new dungeon, Equilibrium is a masterpiece imo. I hope you keep bringing this kind of fire Bungie, because this DLC cooked. Thank you for making it feel awesome to play again.

  • Get a room. No seriously, you paid them money for a product. They don't care about you outside of what you spend money on in Destiny. These "Thank you Bungie" cries for attention are pathetic.
