Destiny 2 characters and campaign progress being deleted for loging i g
When I logged into my destiny 2 on my Xbox I logged in to find all my characters had been deleted with all the weapons I had on them as well. My campaign progress and subclasses were reverted to the newlight experience but I still have all my weapons from my value and callections, my titals still say I have completed the campaign even after this has happened

Your characters have been deleted by someone who was able to launch the game on your account, as this is the only place where characters can be deleted. As it is not possible to delete all three characters down to nothing, it is 'traditional' to create a new Titan after deleting characters 1 and 2, so the old character 3 can be removed. Some things in the game are completed on a per-account or per-class basis, and it is not always consistent. So that is why content completed on an old Titan may count as completed on a new Titan. Unfortunately as Bungie entrusts account security to the players, there is nothing they will do. Please see below for the deleted items/character policy.
