I want to put aside thoughts and opinions about the activity's functions for just a second to address an issue that I feel isn't getting enough attention. Sorrow's Harbor is far too bright for a proper Halloween activity.
From what I can remember of my runs so far, there are 3 different skyboxes. 2 of them have the sun out, making it broad daylight. That bright lighting just kind of kills the festive mood. The one skybox that does not have the sun out is a little darker lighting, but I feel we can do better.
I believe the activity needs to be darker, lighting-wise. It needs to feel like night. As it is, the festive atmosphere is incredibly weak. I feel that there is a serious lack of concern for making a proper festive atmosphere. FotL loot has always been a little lackluster in general. The main draw of the holiday has always been the fun and atmosphere. The Haunted Forest had both. The Haunted Sectors had atmosphere, but lacked fun. Now we have the fun, but lack atmosphere. Please take care for one of the most important aspects of the event.
