Why is matterspark even a thing? Using it is VERY hard to control, it's hard to not get nauseous with all the extra twistiness and disorienting feelings it gives you, and it makes falling through small hole in the map floor all too easy when you're not trying to. Being UNDER THE MAP as a little ball and getting stuck in a respawn loop is NOT COOL, NOT FUN, AND NOT A PRODUCT I WILL EVER ENDORSE. Please consider making alternative paths for those unable to "put the ball in the hole". Your game shouldn't be so hard as to create its own need for therapy (I jest, but man is it awful right now yo).
EDIT AFTER COMPLETION: Matterspark needs more time added to the initial several instances where you're basically learning it, and it needs some finer tuning in the spots where your view is forced and all twisty and most of all it is best to design any new movement mechanics learned first in solo missions because.... Being dragged behind someone who DOES get it well and easily was the main issue for me... it made some of the necessary points inaccessible once I was too far behind and I had to wait for the team to "pull me" a few times and that's not the best way to learn anything in this game. Give the new mechanic more time to learn before ramping up the anxiety by the adding of a timer.
Funniest thing is they praised and were so proud of the ball concept and everyone hates it, me included.
Now they’re like “Damn now what, that was our selling point for the DLC, now they’re gonna realize there’s nothing to do.”
