Why didn’t you guys just make Destiny 3?

Instead of all this armor rework -blam!- for the remaining 20k active players, we could have gotten A brand new campaign, like an actual good one. With NPCs that move and interact with the -blam!- environment. You know, like gears of war for example. Or even your own games. Like halo reach. No more over the comm -blam!- Brand new fresh pvp, that’s balanced, not half baked, with loads of new maps and reskin the old favourites for a glow up. Maybe take some inspiration from Marvel Rivals and OW and add an escort the payload mode Some nice dungeons, a good raid (a fun one, like oryx. With boss fights and some jumping puzzles), stop with all the over the top mechanics -blam!-. I just wanna shoot stuff, maybe do some light puzzles and kill a cool boss. This is an FPSMMO lite. Add on top 2025 graphics. Brand new weapons + weapon animations, and a returning playerbase. Destiny 3 with a solid 9/10 campaign + balanced PvP would have made bank Why take the risk with that other game? I actually can’t remember the name. The one you been working on with bad graphics and weird non binary characters in a very niche market Genuinely don’t get it.

  • Making a D3 would entail pausing development on D2(the only thing that makes them money). Thats just not an option. Marathon is the hope for a second profitable game then COULD, if it goes well, support them during that long stretch of developing a new game in the series. A D3 would be neat. But I don't think they can for money reasons.
