It just looks and feels super awkward when you have to stand and wait for Super to end.
It can causes problems or wipe, especially solo, because there's a lot of pickups/buttons/damage-the-object mechanics that don't function at all while Super is active.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to use strand or stasis for movement while in a boss fight, only to immediately scrap the idea this season because not only will I miss out on super damage, but also timelost magazine dps increase, as I can’t just pop and cancel my super. It’s a niche thing that only a small group of endgame players will have as a consideration, but it’s another reason to add a super cancel that I haven’t seen anybody else put here yet.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve waisted my arc super because I activated right at the end of a fight thinking more adds would spawn..

All supers should work like Geomags, able to be canceled and retain what super energy you had left when you canceled it -
I wouldn't mind having cancel for supers and prismatic.

1 ReplyPlus, a cancelable function to roamers would allow for a whole new host of exotics that focus on canceling your supers and giving you benefits for doing so.
