Should I get into Elden Ring as a casual gamer?
I’ve played Destiny for years on and off, I am not a super active gamer, too much real life stuff to take care of but I’m home from college and have some free time. The Souls games have such a reputation for difficulty but there has been so much positive buzz around Elden Ring that I’ve been thinking about trying it out. Are casual players able to get into and enjoy it?

I think the crux of it for me is that I don’t have the time to waste getting good. If I was still 16/17 and had hours to spare playing games then I would probably have passed the point of giving up, but my time is more valuable than that now. When games are too hard I will persist but only up to a point. I would get it on sale, that way you haven’t wasted too much money if you play it and decide it’s not for you.
