Thats the most underwhelming armor update
I was thinking you would do another exotic balancing to look at poor performing exotics.
Is this really it? Just adjust a small handful of pieces to synergise with prismatic?
Or is there more to come…?
The exotic artifice is a nice touch, I will give you that. But thats all.

Edited by ForeverLaxx: 5/27/2024 10:30:21 AMThere are just too many exotics that are either too niche to make a build for, or are overshadowed by a similar exotic/build that does what it wants you to do but better. Then you've got the exotics that force you to use an ability with no functional use (hello, Shinobu's Vow and Skip Grenades) which further dilutes the pool. When the most popular and powerful exotics tend to be subclass agnostic, you've got a major design problem.

8 RepliesTo be honest, bungie to me has messed up on one specific armour piece for hunters and that’s assassins cowl, since they are removing the affect from combination blow for the invisible affect… Go to the new solar builds and just put in lightweight knife, since you’re going to get two charges by default and each kill gives you your melee back with the help of ember of torches. So they killed it in arc, but made it absolutely busted on solar, the class with the most healing items

Probably not buffing too many things because they dont know if it would be broken with the new subclass. Also multiple new exotic armors in final shape.

Yeah one of the weakest exotic armor passes they’ve ever done. Nerfs don’t kick out the top meta (which is fine), buffs do very little for most exotics that did receive one, extremely bad outliers like Sanguine Alchemy, Mask of the Quiet One, Blight Ranger not even mentioned. If their goal was to not shake up the meta at all, they accomplished it.

Would like to see some buffs new exotic reworks to help the blows to powerful builds. We got a battle harmony buff that is lackluster.

3 RepliesMost exotics are in a good place, it's just that we don't use them for our builds. Look how many arc grenade exotics there are for hunter. We all knew sunbracers were getting kneecapped. Are exotics weapons also getting tweaked?

They’re probably waiting to see how Prismatic plays out and evaluate before making any drastic buffs/nerfs. Doesn’t make much sense to do a bunch of big exotic armor changes right before dropping a new subclass that may or may not break the game on its own to begin with. It could just make the potential problems worse. Especially with exotic class items coming. -

I’m satisfied 🤷🏼♂️ I’m very happy to see that Ursa got a much-needed buff. Now I only have to figure out a way of making it look good lol. Although, it’s gonna be very difficult to takeoff the second chances after the shield toss buff

12 RepliesThis entire week just further proves just how oblivious Bungie has become towards their own game. They're nerfing our weapons. They're nerfing our abilities. And they're nerfing our armor. But don't worry. They're finally buffing the drop rate on shiny Onslaught weapons. With only a week left until they're gone forever and after everyone has spent hundreds of Trophies on them.

It was a bit boring… There are so many pieces of armour that need full on reworks or huge buffs but all that really happened were a couple nerfs and some prismatic based effect changes.

2 RepliesWhere's the wormhusk buff lmao.. so I can just wear wormhusk but on prismatic I could wear wormhusk and dragon shadow makes no sense.. oh that 45 hp bump on dodge is huge, in a world where I can get resto x2 on a reload after a kill, smfh..

Really sad about sunbracers. Its my my favorite exotic. It was a strong option but i dont think it ever warranted a nerf, its just going to not feel as fun anymore.

Meh. There are but you gotta remember that the exotic armor is also done by the abilities team - who likely had their hands full between prismatic and the massive changes from yesterday. Not every exotic that needs help was mentioned here, but a few got some nice tweaks
