Say what you want about Lightfall…
But can we take a second to appreciate how good all the cinematics look?! At least from what we see in trailers, the detail and animation is SUCH an upgrade! And we’ve already seen this in game with the season finale cutscene! The PlayStation money’s goin’ to work lol

That is one thing Bungie has always been good with in Destiny. Great hype up and theatrics.

2 RepliesI can't play a cut scene, but Bungle has always been good at hype. Remember Shadow Keep when they had a Cut Scene of Tanks firing? The Forums lost their mind speculating we would have all sorts of tank type activities. What we actually got was about 1 minute of tanks in the first mission and that was it for the entire campaign. So the one thing you can count on is Bungle will spend more time on Cut scenes than the entire Season Pass.

The hardest working and most bang for your buck team has always been the marketing folks. They get you hyped and pumped up even when you know you are making your expectations WAY too high.

3 RepliesHave you not seen in game renders? The very first mission of this season when Ana and Osiris were conversing with Clovis wasn't great. Or during season of the lost when Mara looked perpetually jumpscared. Their Cinematics always nailed it. In game though...

DON'T fall for the hypetrain or you'll get another Cyberflunk situation. It's been like this for the last 3 major DLC releases. Do I have hope for this expansion? = NO. Am I addicted? = YES Do I have Mom's credit card? = NO (Just Kidding) but LittleTimmy does! Will I buy it? = Maybe, play for free first, see what's on offer and make a choice then. I've played in excess of 5500+ hours of this game I'm not going to stop here. The Price SUCKS!!!

Bungie has always been good at making trailers, that is very true. I don't have much hope for this next year of the game, but that trailer was so good, I rewatched it several times because I could feel myself getting lost in the wonder of it. But the reality of how the game is and will be, crept back in every time. Hype to see cinematics though.

I agree! And I read some of these responses…. Man, so many gamers are jaded it’s sad. Take a break from destiny then if nothing is enjoyable, you don’t like the gameplay and don’t care about the grind, why play? People always say they are allowed to voice their opinion, sure…. But if nothing is enjoyable about the game, why play? If I don’t like a restaurant, I don’t keep going and complaining, I just leave and never go back….

I don't care what others say. That trailer was probably the best since TTK! I admit I have not cared much for playing D2 the past few weeks and started regretting wasting money on Lightfall but since I've been playing since the start I want to see this to the end. Kinda like you tell your kid, eat your veggies and they do it just so they can have desert later not because they like the veggies. BUT - trailer - now, yummm veggies! More please!!!!

1 Reply90% of the cinematics we have seen from lightfall in the trailers are from what appears to be the opening cutscene.
