We can proc devour off of any ability kill & keep it rolling ... what's unfair about using a grenade or charged melee to proc devour?

Because using a grenade or charged melee doesn't proc devour. Securing a kill with them does. It's not a matter of whether that's achievable or not it's a matter of bring able to do it on demand like the other class' can.

Yep, can also be activated from an orb pickup. That's apart of the problem. Devour is just as strong on titan and hunter as it is on warlock. It shouldn't be that way.
