Why should they remain invis if you have spotted them and are shooting them?

3 RepliesIt's all the hunter has now we are the least mobile class an every good thing we have is given to the other classes like our dodge which both classes have now an arguably better versions at that even with light fall when we where gunna get the grapple a new movment tool that was supposed to be exclusively for hunter and now for everyone just let us have invis it's not even that good you guys can already move better than the mobility class in everyway except jumping straight up let us hide from you please
-
If you see them then whether they're invis or not doesnt matter. They're either going to shoot you and lose invis, or not shoot your and get downed. If they get away.. then the problem here isn't invis.
-
Why? All classes have their own way to be OP, stop complaining about the strength of other classes
-
Okay, then when I shoot a titan while they're charging, they should slow down and when a warlock is teleporting and I shoot them, their teleport should be cut short.
-
5 RepliesOk, no more over shields though.
-
4 RepliesYeah totally. And if you shoot a titan barricade with armor piercing rounds it should just go right through them.

Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 10/25/2022 5:28:32 AMOk, no more titan over shields and if you get shot in a healing rift it goes away 🙄🤷♂️
-
Skill issue.
-
if you already see them and are shooting them then what's the problem?
-
4 RepliesTo anybody whining about invis, WHAT ELSE CAN NIGHTSTALKER DO?!
-
Has Invis always bothered you or just since this season started and it’s the new thing to complain about?
-
Makes sense for PVP. But in PVE those fallen invis dudes don’t so why should we?
-
So if shooting an invisible hunter makes them visible, do the warlock’s rift disappear if the warlock get shot at? What about the titan’s barricade? Will it go away if I shoot the titan?
-
1 ReplyTo everybody who thinks Invis is OP: Play as an Invis Hunter. Load into Trials and then record your findings. Then report back here.
-
Nah. Honestly invis isn’t that hard to spot visibly, and I main Titan. It’s the radar that’s gets you.
-
How about just keep shooting them? Maybe even kill them?
-
39 RepliesYou're shooting them, so you already know where they are. The only reason to want this is because you're spraying and hoping to hit them to "knock them out of invis." To that I say: no thanks. Invisibility is already easy enough to look out for. Break your scrub mentality and start playing better instead of making excuses and calling for unwarranted nerfs.

25 RepliesEdited by Ace: 10/24/2022 3:36:50 PMK, question? Am I the only one who dissagrees? Speaking from the standpoint of my favorite class and subclass, stop. this defeats the point of invis. If you are good at the game, invis is not a problem. You can already him us across the map, we ping your radar more than a crouching, un-invis person. Besides, if i'm trying to snipe you, this a big red light saying "HI HERE I AM PLEASE MOVE BACK BEHIND COVER NOW!!!" Invis isn't a problem. Not anymore. Again, it's a "NERF HUNTER. HUNTER TOO STRONG." Ya'll need to find another class to complain about. Jeez. EDIT: Honestly, I wouldn't mind this, but Invis needs to be the way it was pre-nerf if this change occurs. It would be useless if this happened the way it is now. wait... isn't that what ya'll want tho?

Hunters in this thread: “Let us correct it for you, when you shoot a Hunter, he should take no damage” -sincerely a Hunter main
-
IDK about one shot & they're visible. But it would be cool if the invisibility reacted like the Fallen shields when they are being shot.
-
Hey Guardian. I don't want to enter in the topic you brought up specifically. Just wanna say that when is about videgames, Destiny 2 included, arguments like "It just makes sense" or "It's more realistic" refered to in-game mechanics usually are not very good =/
-
Not a fan of this idea- seems like too big of a nerf. Maybe aomething less harsh, especially for pve. For now though maybe try using things that inflict status effects to prime that target and make them easier to see before finishing them off. Might help a bit in the meantime
-
A creative nerf to invis that will be highly effective… i commend you sir, please enjoy an upvote

14 RepliesEdited by xNBK-YOTIEx: 10/25/2022 5:15:05 PM
Why should they remain invis if you have spotted them and are shooting them?
Yeah, and we should nerf rifts. When the warlocks are crutching on their healing rifts and get shot it goes away. Titans crutching behind their barricades. Nerf them too. When a barricade get shot it goes away too. If you want invisibility nerfed, then the test should be nerfed. This is coming from a warlock main who is so freaking sick of the whining scrubs in this game who want everything changed because of them. Edit… my statements about nerfs are sarcasm
-
People who invis crutch are trash at the game anyway

4 RepliesIf you're shooting them when they are invis it's because you currently see them. And if they want to defend themselves, they need to fire back which un cloaks them anyway. They still ping on radar, you still see their special light, they still have AA on them, they make noise when they go invis, come out of it, ping when jumping, sprinting, etc. TLDR, this requested change means nothing unless you're just spraying with an auto or something because you don't wanna aim
