Hi! I actually think that raid rewards are in a great spot, but i think a small nudge would put them into the perfect category. Upon completing an encounter, maybe instead of a piece of gear, you get a key that will open a chest. Now i know what you're all thinking, "NO!! We moved away from that raid token system from vanilla D2 for a reason!" And you know what? You're absolutely right, raid tokens sucked. What i'm talking about would be quite different.
Imagine if VoG had this system. You've just beaten the templar, and instead of a normal drop, you got a templar key. And in the back of the room would be 2 chests, a weapon chest and an armor chest. This would allow people raiding for pinnacles to more likely get what they need to target the gear they want and for people looking to farm a specific weapon, it removes the frustration and sense of wasted time when they get armor instead of a weapon. Beyond that, i would make EVERY raid weapon craftable.
Thoughts?

There is one huge problem that has existed for 8 years now that you didn't mention. But before that, Bungie will not set items in raids to have a guaranteed drop, and most of you should know this by now. It would beat the whole purpose of that wonderful problem Bungie added to the game that keeps players running activities like raids hundreds of times.
Bungie's "RNG".
