Couldn't have stated this better. This IP is just being used to fund the other "skinner box" IP in the works. Seems like there's a team of 5 people working on this game now.

Besides the comment about Trespasser the gun is pretty cracked if you build for it. This season I will agree is complete garbage tier I'd honestly rate Worthy over it and I -blam!- hated Worthy. Not only do you get barely anything for the $10 season content wise all there is to do is farm deepsights and thats the entire season. The story is also really bad and horridly written. Oh a character has a traumatic past and needs time to get over this trauma they've been possibly carrying for hundreds of years? Ah, no matter Zavala, Crow and Caiatl will be over their trauma in a week each. People will try to prop this season up going "b-but the dungeon!!!" which isn't a way to value this season since its not part of it when you have to purchase it separately and its treated as its own separate part of the game... yet Bungie ties it into the seasonal narrative anyway meaning you have to pay $20 to get the "full" seasonal experience this season. What you actually get for your $10 is a whopping... 3 story missions - repeated twice with slight differences Seasonal Challenges Haunted Gear - Not entirely sure if non-season owners can obtain all of it Premium pass track That's literally it, and the seasonal challenges are most of them copy pasted from every previous season except for the seasonal challenges that are super riveting challenges like open 75 chests in patrol leviathan. The rest of the content this season is not even tied to what you purchase as you can patrol the leviathan, play the public event and get the opulent gear without buying the season. Not to mention the laziness with this season reusing just raid areas with some gunk splattered around and the bigger sin is reusing these raid areas... BUT NOT BRINGING BACK THE RAID THAT THEY ARE PART OF! I'd be less annoyed if it was actually transformative but its not you can even shoot the chains in the baths and they still give you the "immune" text for crying out loud! Not even going to get into Solar 3.0 and how much of a let down it is. EDIT: Oh and I forgot the numerous amount of bugs, crashes and issues this season has had and still has right now.

Don't worry, there are plenty of thirst-quenchers that are about to inform you how great this season is and/or insult you and spam your dms until you change your settings. Because that totally proves them correct lol.

You clearly have a lack of of basic knowledge on development. Would you prefer them to make nothing for a year or would you cry about a lack on things to do? They're adding something nearly every 3 months. Sure not every season is great but it's fairly impressive just how much work they do.

My gripe isn’t the content… which gives me ‘Worthy’ vibes, eww… it’s the state in which they considered this update to be acceptable for release. It wasn’t ready. It really wasn’t.

Just ate a Philly steak combo from the deli for $9.00. This season cost $10. Also went to see Top Gun over the weekend for about $10. The sandwich was delicious. The movie was two hours long and very good. By the end of the season with just doing the story missions and the events and such I will have at least 10-20 hours of entertainment (not counting the usual fun I have with my clan mates in dungeons and events and such). It’s a good deal and you know it. I don’t get where gamers have this bs sense of entitlement like they are being overcharged for something.

Take a break, sounds like you need one.

Have you tried any of the dungeons? Especially duality? raids?

I’m enjoying the new dungeon. The story is alright-not award winning but it will do. I might be in the minority but I also enjoyed rift for IB but thought the rewards were lackluster. Also have enjoyed playing around with the new solar builds. All-in-all I feel like I’ve got $10 worth of entertainment.
