Titan in Solar 3.0
I don’t know what it is but playing Titan Main now after the solar 3.0 update just isn’t as enjoyable as it was before. The Titan seems neutered - blah - generic.

I did grasp solo flawless today on 3.0 titan. I haven't put it down. Look at plunders builds on YouTube for some inspiration.

3 RepliesOpposite experience for me, never used Solar Titan pre 3.0, now I've got a build that rivals my Void favourite. Only problem I have is trying to get a satisfactory Lament boss-build whilst including the open-play buffs I want. Having to use 4 mods for Lament optimal is restrictive but then can't have it all I suppose. [spoiler]Lucent, Supercharge, Elemental Charge, +any Well-maker - just leaves one spot so tends to be Font of Might[/spoiler] Re-binding charged melee to R1, regular melee to R3, finisher to 'Up' means hammer time is miles better.

I main titan too. Solar 3.0 is awesomesauce.

I kinda feel you. Sunbreaker 3.0 with 100 Resiliance and Lorelay in PvE is almost impossible to kill. I've played Duality few times in these days [i](Regular, 1550)[/i] with this Build and there where moments I thought I couldn't die even if I wanted to. I don't use the Throwing Hammer, but I know that the Roaring Flames x3 is actually a beast for big damage on everything. Not really my thing tho. I can see the Titan vibes here, but It's not really fun for me to play like when I use the Sentinel Titan. However, we still don't have access to all the Fragments and I haven't unlocked all the Artifcact Mods, so maybe something might change in the next weeks, who knows.

3 RepliesThere’s nothing fun about spamming throwing hammers with tractor cannon I’m sorry. There are so many Titan exotics even solar ones that are not even needed anymore and need a rework. Also the new scythe relic is the real burning maul

4 RepliesEdited by DuBChiri2: 6/2/2022 8:20:20 PMI don't get how people think it was more fun. Throwing hammer is the strongest and most fun melee to use in the game which we can ALWAYS use now. The uppercut obliterates groups of enemies and does very respectable damage to bosses. Our supers are LITERALLY better than they were pre patch minus the chain heal from bottom tree being as strong. Roaring flames still kills everything and sunspots give you CONSTANT health regen and still a 50% base cooldown regen speed. You can still easily chain abilities left and right in pve with the right fragments, well mods, and exotic and even then JUST heart of inmost light will have you looping super lethal abilities left and right. Like...WHAT about bottom tree sunbreaker is so much more fun than literally having access to everything that made sunbreaker enjoyable at all times on top of making explosions and burning things left and right?

1 ReplyPersonally I find the rework so drastically enjoyable that I now find it nearly just as enjoyable as stasis (I have bias towards stasis that is beyond gameplay, so I find it astonishing onto myself).
