Renewal grasps, invis, overshields need fixing now!

You can't leave this in crucible forever like you did with shatterdive! How often are you going to destroy your own game?

    Are you guys -blam!- about how much the actual reduction is? Do your research. If you put down a Duskfield grenade and you stand in the zone, its 15% If you have Whisper of Chains and DONT destroy the crystal to gain grenade recovery AND stand inside the zone: its ~35% If the enemy or combatant stands inside the zone, the damage reduction is 50% The moments where you have 50% damage reduction are very rare btw. Any PvP player will move out of it before you can engage, and in endgame like GM, the enemy will just simply kill you if you and the NPC stand close together inside the zone. jeez

      Renewal grasps is definitely S-tier and pretty broken. That Duskfield grenade is basically a WOD Bubble without an overshield. You can literally get your overshield from breaking crystals and making shards and any person caught near or inside the grenade basically receives a debuff or buff. This exotic has brought some of the strength for Shatterdive and players have not realized it yet. It makes dodging for slow even more potent now. Overshield needs to keep the timer it has for PVE but reduce the timer by half for PVP and the same can go for Devour and Invis. When players are defending ez mode, they normally dont want to showcase where they stand skill wise especially when they move from META to META. This community wants this game to be full of space magic and entertain competitiveness but the game cant measure to that stick. I know I am having fun with the Renewal Grasp in PVE but for PVP players are suffering based off the amount of posts I see and what Stasis does as a whole. Bungie needs to make space magic and gunplay feel amazing in PVE like it does with these guantlets and any META loadout while reducing the potency of both in PVP. Gunplay should outweigh space magic in PVP.

      • Counterpoint. Shatterdive was in instantaneous 2000 damage pocket nuke. A pocket nuke with insane amounts of utility, like providing damage resistance, cover, and/or platforms. Invis just makes you hard to see now that it taking you off of radar went from about half the duration to next to none of the duration. Overshields are rarely an issue since it's only 40 HP, and makes your Barricade significantly squishier. Almost every special weapon can all but ignore it, and most primaries aren't effected much, some not at all, beyond needing an extra headshot or two. Now, Renewals are an easy fix via removing the 50% damage reduction on enemy Guardians (make it PvE only), and not having the boost stack with Chains. But even that isn't even close to being in the same LEAGUE as Shatterdive.

        • shields can be brought down fast, invis is not an issue and grenade just avoid it or shoot crystal
