The real question is; would they age or be a permanent child? Normally guardians seem to stay what ever age their ghost resd them at.

Not because hes super strong or anything but because he was dumb and brave and would fall in line easily as a Guardian.

It’s actually a clue to something more. There are two ways the Gardner would know what kind of person you would grow up to be. It either knows the “future” or…it knows you so intimately it can tell who you will be. Seeing the future isn’t a stretch but that doesn’t explain how it pairs a Ghost, who is for all intent a person, with you. Knowing the disposition of two souls who never met and know which one could compliment the Guardian properly? My take is the Gardner knows us all because she is the source of life. That’s why her conscious broke up into Ghosts. It also explains why the Darkness can’t bring the dead back.
