Make Legendary Astral Alignment have matchmaking, please.
Simple request and up the rewards.
Frankly I would take the reward hit if I can just PUG the legendary alignment to get the Compass Calibration level. Most people can't/won't be able to get it. I, myself and a bloody causal with barely any friends that play destiny 2 anymore. I know. Wah wah. :P
For those that actually get a group and go with a legendary astral alignment non-match making, hell up the reward for them. Kudos to them, they deserve a reward.
Again just saying. Love the lore by the way.

Not while there are champions and lockout. Not unless they actually implement a lobby system that ensures there are at least people with one champion mod and at least three people with the other champion mod.

1 ReplyI concur. Matchmaking for Legend Nightfalls as well. I love these people complaining about hooking up with noobs. I randomly meet up with weak players on this app all the time. I would rather it be automatic instead of me having to use a 3rs party app.

Randos joining without a clue is a recipe for disaster and failure. Matchmaking should be “optional” that way you accept what you’re about to encounter if you allow it. Everybody wins if there’s optional matchmaking.

It is really not that hard to set up an LFG on this app, open up 5 slots say no mic because you really don’t need communication for this and finish it. Literally takes 1 minute.

Just grab a team off lfg, it fills pretty quickly. Also that way you know you have 5 other people that at least want to get it done. With in-game MM it could be a potential nightmare.

1 ReplyThat’s a terrible idea. So many regular ones have people standing walking around in spawn the whole time. If it wasn’t for the bs of some people we could have match making however legitimate reasons exist for not adding it to some activities. It would take less time to find a group to do actuaries without mm than the amount of time wasted from being thrown together with random people and not completing it. Instead of crying on a forum you could tab over to the lfg section. Wow I just solved your problem. That sure was hard.

Yes, optional matchmaking. Got it done with 3rd Fireteams group, which was effectively random.

Just make or join an LFG group. All you need to do is do it once for the title, the reward is trash. An ascendant form of 2 tokens and a blue.

1 ReplyDo you really want to do a more difficult version of an activity that would take higher than normal coordination with a bunch of blueberries, which by their very definition, have no idea what they're doing? On a serious note,if they did it for the AA's, they'd have to do it for every legendary activity. Personally, I wouldn't want some blueberry to be the reason we wipe/fail an encounter.

If so, I’m keen to hear how you’d approach a situation where: - some of your random match made Team mates left after a couple of failed attempts, - and you realise the new ones who joined does not have the right loadout and not being effective on the ads or champions - and can’t change cos it’s locked… What would you do in that instance? Oh and forgot to ask, if you are able to make a post here in this app, is there anything stopping you from joining an “in-app” lfg group here in this app? [spoiler] I was initially bummed that Legendary AA did not have mm - But after giving it a go, I realised how appreciative I was that I made a group, had loadout a covering different shields and champions and working as a group rather than a bunch of match made randoms being that there is a timer, a wipe mechanic and locked equipment … I am sure that is the sentiment shared by others who have done the Legendary AA by now[/spoiler] Btw, I am mainly a solo player but I’m ok with using the tools I’ve been given to do end game activity through lfg post… makes me enjoy best of both worlds, see if that works out for you Guardian.

18 RepliesIt's very simple to use the Find Fireteam section of the app. Find a team there or post your own. That way you can technically matchmake with players but still be able to communicate loadouts before launching in.
