Hey Off-Topic, Starting tomorrow, Bungie.net profile names will change to a "Bungie Name." This name can be used both on this website/app as well as in Destiny 2. Bungie Names won't be able to be changed until a later date, so pick what name you want to use for the next couple of months. Cheers! After 10 AM PDT, your first login into Destiny 2 will set your platform name as your Bungie Name, excluding ID numbers, non-standard characters/symbols, or Code of Conduct violations.
