No. All of his suggestions are not good for the biggest population of players. Not only that, but you would have to sacrifice making a lot of new stuff to do this suggestion
“All of his suggestions are not good for the biggest population of players.” How? This allows the casual audience to get particular gear they find appealing to play or look at. “you would have to sacrifice making a lot of new stuff to do this suggestion” A: is that not acceptable? It’s a core playlist, it’s literally the place where PVE players are almost all the time. B: That is exactly why the system is designed to be as relaxed on the devs as possible. To take up minimal development time.

Edited by a Chicken Nugget (Adept): 5/3/2021 11:34:07 PMLook at his videos. Do you think people only go and grind strikes? Not only that but they aren’t exactly bad. The system in place now with the selectable difficulties is good. Do you think that after the gambit revamp that people will actually play it? The crucible is fine, we just need to deal with stasis shotguns and 120s and some new maps (some of which is already happening) and people don’t care about destinations. They don’t need to be updated. It would not justify the work done to them if it actually happened. Not only that but look at all the videos on his channel. All of them are suggestion videos that make major changes to the core gameplay. He makes money making these videos so they can be biased. Yeah, you can want this, but if everyone wanted it, there would be more people in the community talking about it.

“Look at his videos. Do you think people only go and grind strikes? Not only that but they aren’t exactly bad. The system in place now with the selectable difficulties is good.” Grinding strikes in destiny 1 was a constantly rewarding venture that offered unique loot you couldn’t get anywhere else. And yes there are a lot of people, especially new lights, who grind ALOT of strikes. Yes optional difficulties is great but could be drastically improved with minimal dev time compared to the engagement it would receive from players. “Do you think that after the gambit revamp that people will actually play it?” Absolutely, every time bungie updates or includes a new feature it gets massive initial attention. And I personally know a lot of people who love gambit despite its dreadful state and would love to see it revived. “The crucible is fine, we just need to deal with stasis shotguns and 120s and some new maps (some of which is already happening) and people don’t care about destinations.” Agree to disagree but I can live with your changes. “Not only that but look at all the videos on his channel. He has his ideal destiny in there but it’s always the “long term” which is fine because over time such massive change could or could not be added. Yes he is biased everything with neurones is. What if someone hasn’t been exposed to these ideas and therefore has no idea if they would want them or not? That argument has never worked at any point where the idea was not already wide spread.

Yeah, but if something is wanted, it would spread to people. For example, transmog. People wanted it and eventually got it. Even here on the forums, people don’t like his ideas. If that doesn’t say anything, then there’s not much I can do. I know it is totally opinion, and you are entitled to it. Not all the changes are bad, but they aren’t outstanding. If I could have Bungie make some new maps for crucible, or a new strike or two, maybe even a dungeon, I still would rather take those than the changes

What I don’t like is when people don’t engage With the criticism, when they say no it’s bad and don’t supply a reason. I’m ok with people not liking the system I just don’t want people telling me it’s bad when they are not willing to explain why. Transmog is kind of a different beast though imo it’s a literal staple of MMOs in general and something people talk about a lot the idea was already widely known. “I know it is totally opinion, and you are entitled to it. Not all the changes are bad, but they aren’t outstanding. If I could have Bungie make some new maps for crucible, or a new strike or two, maybe even a dungeon, I still would rather take those than the changes” I disagree but still think that’s perfectly valid.

It all comes down to what you want. If you want revamped core playlists, that’s your thing. I’m more of just logging on and doing raids, dungeons and maybe trials, but not everyone is like me. If you really want this, I won’t deny you

Not trying to start anything, just noting a detail, but while yes people want these things, their discouraged from even trying to voice their want for change. This post being a perfect example, it's been shot to hell already n it ain't even that old. I've seen a lot of post similar to this one, n there all the same, pointing out changes people have thought up, n instantly being shot down for it. People want these changes, yet the community won't let them shine what so ever.

I won’t deny this thread has been exhausting such extreme negativity is so tiring.
