Such and easy fix to trials. If you go flawless on one character you SHOULD be matched only against other flawless people, then you can switch over if you want the rewards. This just lets everyone else have a bigger chance of going flawless and they can stop crying about it, will litterly benefit the whole part of your actual community and maybe make some streamer tryhards mad, but who cares about that
EDIT: When thinking about it maybe a daily flawless limit might be good, so you will be locked for the day until the next daily reset for the entire time of the trials weekend.

1 ReplyI struggle in trials yet I 100% disagree. I never say "git gud" crap, but this is the case. We, D2 players should not expect easy trips to the lighthouse. If we can't get there on our own or by asking great players for help, then we don't deserve to get there. Cheaters, D-Dossing and win trading has already watered down the flawless pool.

2 RepliesI genuinely dont understand how people are so against a flawless only pool but completely fun with people just jumping off the map to get the same -blam!-ing loot. The pvp elitism in this game is -blam!-ing stupid
-
I agree with you 100% but I'd like to add to it. *Friday - Saturday at reset = Open game. *Saturday at reset if you've been flawless you only play others who have as well. *You can NOT reset your card once you have won a game. You MUST complete the card. *Matchmaking goes by the player with the MOST wins so you can't double stack 6 win cards with a zero win player. Happened to us last week on game 2. *Bungie adds rules to TOS to ban those who share their account creds. So, no more recovs. If streamers want to carry they'll need to do it versus other higher tier players and not ruin the cards of those who work a 9-5. Do these things and trials will be tons more attractive to the average Joe like me. I'm sure the sweaty's will say, "get good" Well, same to you. Get good enough to beat those on your level and stop inflating your ego by stomping average players into refusing to even play trials.
-
I think it would be hilarious if streamers and others that carry a paid up noob always had go up against 3 flawless guys.
-
Yeah I was playing yesterday with 2 people that are leagues above some players and it sucks that they are stomping people who are only at their 5th win while we are on our last. But sometimes thats how the cookie crumbles.
-
Just be better 4 head
-
I wouldnt go that far, but matchmaking needs to be looked at hardcore. Last week I was with 2 friends of mine and on our first and second game we were up against people with 20+ winstreaks, from that week. I've lost to teams, matchmade, and then got the same team again whenever were not even on the same win.

18 RepliesElite players don't want to play elite players. They want to pound on noobs. What would the streamers do? WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE STREAMERS!!???
-
8 RepliesEdited by Akechi: 4/3/2021 5:46:15 PMNope! 😉 Get good. Stop asking for handouts! Thanks (:

7 RepliesSo let me get this straight: The Trials elitists argument is that they shouldn't be put into a flawless-only list after going flawless is because they shouldn't have to suffer against sweats. And The Trials newbies argument is to put flawless teams in a flawless-only list because they don't want to suffer against sweats. But to the elitists the newbies are just "asking for stuff to be handed to them"? Does that mean the elitists (who have the same argument) just "want the stuff handed to them" on their subsequent runs with easy matches against newbies on their first card?

1 ReplyI think Bungie could do this. Create like a champions league end the pre-requisite to enter is that you have to have gone flawless. the other part is for those that haven't gone flawless. as soon as you have you get to play with the big boys in the flawless league
-
Edited by Bluebairy: 4/2/2021 4:43:05 PMSounds good, except carries wont be a thing anymore and that will just encourage recovs. Plus the player base as a whole isnt big enough right now. Plus stat farmers will be resetting before they get flawless so they can continue to farm the lower skill bracket
-
9 RepliesYou know what. -blam!- the casuals. Not everything is going to be handed to you.
-
Trials teams are match based on the number of wins on their ticket. So the way I understand it is if your team is 5-0 then your opponent is also 5-0. The Destiny 2 player base is dwindling, especially during off peak hours. The match making has to open to wider latency ranges for matches that use CBMM and wider skill ranges for the matches that’s still use SBMM matches like Elimination or Survival.

You know whatd be a good fix? Have the 3 win reward bounty repeatable. And let people pick the item between 3,5,7. Adepts stay at the lighthouse. Reason being? Trials has been great the last 2 weeks due to the 3 win reward being something people want. As soon as the it's a class item no ones going to play, and then itll just be the sweats.

4 RepliesHave you heard a 3 year old cry because of having a tantrum?... It's the most annoying thing in the world!!! That's the kind of gamers play this game. Adult children having tantrums when faced with an adversary as good as them. They go "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! The prominent once in the community are the worse. They go Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! Whimper Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! 3 year olds would look at them and would call them babies! 😂😂😂

Edited by ALBOBOSS: 4/2/2021 5:42:27 AMThe main argument I see in this thread is that good players want it easy or they don't want to face people of their same skill which is hypocrisy at its finest. The players that are asking for segregated matchmaking want it easy. Good players are not asking to face a specific subset of the population, just a chance to face everyone that is participating in the same tournament for the same stakes and rewards. If you want flawless to face flawless, than you have to progressively increase the rewards for each flawless. Introduce exclusive rewards the higher up you go. As it stands, all this is asking is to dumb down trials so that anyone can get flawless gear. The equivalent would be if the nba was open for all to participate and impromptu teams sign up but request to only face high school level basketball teams while NBA teams face other NBA teams. In the end, everyone gets the same rewards. And this is supposed to be "fair". Instead of this, people should be asking for more loot in trials in general. Edit: I should open a thread for gm enemies to scale depending on the team playing so that everyone can win.

3 RepliesThere are a few flaws to this. Most can just abuse the system and wait to the last minute to get a card. Also once many have gone flawless the pool will get VERY scarce, as in, when everyone is flawless, nobody will be.
-
-
5 RepliesThis simply incentivizes players to play low win cards until the end of the day/weekend. The only way to fix trials is incentivize playing through the card.
-
34 RepliesThe fact this has so many upvotes and anyone who replies saying no is downvoted into oblivion. Everyone just wants loot to be handed to them and not have to work for it.
-
This would definitely fix the paid carries! I'd be ok with it.

1 ReplyBest thing for trials I think is to 100% not have pve loot in trials. Anything with a specific burn or unique pve perks (solas scar is the only non sunset solar legendary sword with good pve rolls, right? - negative space being awful), Igneous hammer is solar 120 hc, unique. It's not as bad as hiding something like guillotine in there but same idea. Solas scar will only be used in pvp as a status symbol I think.
-
The amount of tryhard streamers saying you're bad is pretty good because it lets me write a note of who not to watch.
-
Yes. This. It's always been this. Seems so simple yet Bungie doesn't, strange huh🤔
