Warlock stasis nerf is way over the top.

Changes would have been fine fine, nerfing every part of a new kit and leaving the other classes untouched is not good balance.

        Still too much melee range, the other classes weren’t completely overpowered compared to warlock

        • They tuned the broken aspects of the subclass, which just so happened to be nearly every ability stasis warlocks possessed. I think these are good changes. With that being said, LETS PLAY WITH IT FIRST BEFORE WE THROW A CHILD TANTRUM.

            The real issue, IMO, with the melee attack nerf is there is such a small window between missing a shot because at too far of a range mixed between being too close with the range of a melee punch (Warlock punch seems to have more range than ever). You’re in no man’s land and the ranged melee essential lost its function. Then add in the other class nerfs. Weird choice. I play all three toons and the Titan and Hunter easily outclass the Shadebinder in every way now. YaHateToSeeIt.

              • You seriously don't see that it was way OP. I ran my hunter, then my titan. Did my lick last and laughed at how much better and stronger it felt than the other 2. The melee neerf was bad tho.

                • It was nice feeling like my warlock finally had an ability to counter the titan's several one hit melee abilities in PVP.... so long to that I guess. I haven't tried using stasis in pvp since the update, but I was on Europa/tangled shore last night and did not like using stasis one bit. They definitely nerfed the melee straight to the ground and then some. I also don't see why they nerfed the time of the warlock stasis super as well. All supers are supposed to be powerful, hence the -blam!-ing name "SUPER". At least now I have a reason to get stasis for my Hunter lol.

                      • It wouldn’t be an issue if I could control when the melee fired. (Hold to use charged melee, tap to use basic melee.) As it is now, my melee won’t activate because I’m too close, but when I get far enough for it to activate, the targeted enemy moves out of range. It’s not a fix yet, but I’m hoping bungie will either take the controlled melee charge option I presented, or find another way to work this out.

                        • Not a big warlock fan but they did go overboard with that nerf. However, Bungie always have a hidden agenda and you know they did that nerf due to the upcoming raid. If it wasnt for the raid they wouldnt have did shit. Gotta love Bungie😏

                                  The warlock class was NEVER viable in endgame content or high level PvP. The warlock was designed for BEGINNERS/CASUALS to eventually GRADUATE up to a Hunter.

                                    • If the biggest frustration (from all the forum posts I read about it) was that it froze you too long, then what was the point of the range nerf if you cut the freezing down to 1 second? Now you break out of being frozen before you even press the button. On top of that, now all classes finally have a 1hk melee. Shoulder charge -close range- Weighted Knife -long range- Snow Ball Wand - Medium range-

                                      • Melee range is my issue. For pve the range already felt like 5-10 meters too short. And now it's basically a close range, ranged melee but there is no difference in button push between a not charged melee and the ranged one so now it whiffs so often because you have to use it close and sometimes you do the stupid slap the air shit that gets you killed instead of freezing. I think they need to add a setting for when you have a ranged melee push to hold ranged and tap for regular or something double tap it. Something to give us control over it. Been a problem for hunters for ever trying to do a normal melee chuck you smoke into the void instead or trying to throw smoke and slap the air instead or punch a exploder shank. Might actually help with melee registration too since you just have more control and don't throw the wrong thing. Or just the range back and slow it down even more. It was a great tool for pve and now is rough to use when under light because it's not as safe anymore. They should nerf top tree dawns melee too since it's mad fast mad range and mad tracking. I love it but I also loved warlock stasis melee. Most fun I've had on warlock since d1 scatter nades with nothing manacles and grenadier heroic strikes.

                                        • This fits Bungie's usual pattern: Nerf Warlock into the ground. Give Hunter the best PVP exotic in the game. Pretend Titans aren't OP in PVP and change nothing. Also, can't tell you how many times I've used Nova Bomb in PVP recently, aimed it at a group of opponents, and killed [i]nobody[/i].
