Destiny is about the only game o casually play anymore... is it a waste to get a ps5 now for destiny since the next gen version doesn’t come out until December ?

Edited by BITCOINxMILLIONAIRE: 11/6/2020 5:42:47 AMIdk if ps5 will matchmake with ps4. I just remember the original Xbox 360 and Playstation did not matchmake with its next gen console. so you're gonna have an extremely low player base Even if it does, I'd probably wait on the ps5 if you're only getting it for D2. You never know if there is gonna be an issue when things get released at first.

2 RepliesIf you’re going to buy a whole new console solely for Destiny 2, lol but ok, then you might as well save up for a PC and actually invest if you’re that hardcore for the game so you can have the best version

If you don't have one pre-ordered, you're not getting a PS5 next week. 😂

4 RepliesThe question isnt SHOULD you get a PS5... the question is CAN you get a PS5 😂

1 ReplyYou are part of the segment that makes me believe that bungie could charge $20 a month only to play the game, without ever releasing any new content.

7 RepliesYou are going to have to wait. They are sold out

1 ReplyNo in-store sales on launch day so, I'd say you're going to have to wait. *BOTS INTENSIFY *

I'm sticking to my ps4 until they announce exclusive dlc or season to ps5.

I generally make it a rule to never purchase the first run of any system in case of technical issues (see Red Ring of Death). But at this point your only real chance to get a PS5 before the second wave are made available would be to either buy one for a huge markup from a speculator or win one in a contest. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Another gamer in the logging camp I work in pre orderd 1..then immediately raffled it off and made more then his money back..took a chance at a 20$ ticket and won..hopefully he keeps his word lol..if not I’ll beat the stuffing out of him.

Until next year when it's cheaper.

6 RepliesI would never spend that much money for 1 game. If the value meets your investment, sure? I personally am not planning any sort of next gen(current gen I guess now?) upgrades until either the fall or something I must play comes out. Whichever comes first. Like always, the games that take the most advantage of the hardware to justify the purchase won’t come in the first year.
