Which next gen console
You've probably seen posts like this a f[i][/i]u[b][/b]c[u][/u]k ton, but I'm genuinely curious. And plus I was gone for a bit with that whole brain sickness mixed with school thing. So what next gen console are you getting or would you like to get? And yes, I know I didn't include pc, just pick one that you prefer. [spoiler]Inb4 "xbox gay"[/spoiler]

3 RepliesFact: Xbox one X is better than the ps4 pro. Fact: the new Consoles are basically the same on paper. Also fact: The new halo looks absolute trash. Also fact: The majority of play-stations exclusives are single player. Gets lonely. Fact, The Xbox is smaller. Fact, The playstation is bigger. Fact, honestly i don’t care. But i’m getting the xbox because I have long fingers and they don’t fit on the playstation remotes. Fact: the playstation is in a leotard.

Neither at launch; 70 dollars is extortionate for a game, so I'll be waiting for all the exclusives to go down in price anway... and so I may as well wait for the console too. In the future? PS5. PlayStation and Nintendo are the only companies who provide worthwhile exclusive games, and while I greatly respect Microsoft's attention to backwards compatability... that doesn't really stand for much on the only platform with no games. Besides, my Xbox One can play 360 games too so a Series X is basically a few hundred for no real reason.

3 RepliesI will be getting the Series X. My reasons are pretty much the same from last generation. - Most of my friends are on xbox - I prefer the exclusives such as Halo - I have a ton of games which will be carried forward. - Generally I just have a long history with xbox and I don't feel like changing without a good reason.

Main obstacles being the price to get a system that can handle the games I'd want to play and my being -blam!-in dumb at technology. But I'd go with xbone for the few friends I have left on it and to keep my account and stuffs.

Ps5. Maybe down the line ill grab a Xbox just to play OLD games like Blinx 2 or Mad Dash Racing.

If I had to choose, probably a PlayStation. But as it is, I’m not compelled to buy either. Sony’s exclusives aren’t all that appealing to me and anything I want on Xbox I could just get on PC.

PS5 looks to be the only smart choice to me. The downside is that Sony likes to censor Japanese games. XS so far from what I've seen only has a single exclusive (which is a remake of a PC game) and my friends have all ditched Xbox. So I'm going for a new PC on the Microsoft front.

If I absolutely had to pick.... the game I would be buying the system for hasn't been announced yet. So probably a GPU. ...or upgrades to the sim pit. It'd be cool to have a bonafide seat and rail system.

While personally I’ll be getting the series X, I find console wars stupid because half of what people say is just “I’m getting ____ because ___ is better than ___” but neither provide any actual argument. Like saying one has better exclusives is stupid because while some people might love something like god of war, others might heavily prefer halo, so for them Xbox has the better exclusives

7 RepliesI used a PS2, a PS3, and a PS4. They were all reliable hardware (my PS4's demise was due to a software crash). My VHS is also Sony, it still runs fine after 22 years. Sony makes good stuff. I'll go PS5.

3 RepliesPS5 for the exclusives now. God of War 2, HZD 2, Demons Souls, Spider-Man 2, etc. But I may consider getting a Xbox or a PC eventually if the Elder Scrolls 6 is a Microsoft exclusive (which it probably will be).

Xbox. Once I’m out of the Marines I’ll be building a PC as well. My best moments in gaming have been on an Xbox. All my friends are on Xbox too.

The XSX, I'm well entrenched in the ecosystem, I need to grow my collection (OG XB, 2 360s, an XB1 and a Scorpio). Plus, with a new laptop on the way & the Xbox Play Anywhere program, an XSX purchase is a no-brainer.
