40 RepliesNo it isn’t! Exotics are meant to be rare and powerful! I’m guessing you are a “ glitcher” with either revoker or Erentil, or a OP no skill shotgun king. Hardlight is fine just how it is! If they nerf hardlight , the biggest aim assist gun in the game should be nerfed right along side it, REVOKER, the no skill camping gun! EXOTICS SHOULD OUTSHOT LEGENDARIES, this why they are EXOTIC

Edited by Wes: 4/2/2020 5:45:00 PM100 stability (with catalyst) 100 aim assist 100 recoil direction No damage falloff Doesn't need constant line of sight Spammable mag size Extremely lethal Whether or not you want it nerfed, we should at least be able to agree that it's straight up an easy button. There's a reason why Hard Light got over 6 million kills over the last weekend while the next highest primary was at less than a third of that. I'll be the first to tell you that usage/kills data generally isn't an indication of power. However, a major outlier such as this is an indication of something. In the case of Hard Light, I believe it is an indication that it's too easy to use for it's lethality. That, and it can be paired with Revoker, which is the most forgiving sniper and best of it's archetype. (It's also glitched and returns hits by the way: https://youtu.be/ksuIb7QFfXU ) Edit: Honestly, I think a Suros meta would be MUCH better. Suros has a smaller mag, actually has recoil, has damage falloff, and can't shoot around walls. This gives a LOT more room for hand cannons and pulses than Hard Light does.

2 RepliesBut would that make it Softlight?
Flaccidlight?
6 RepliesEdited by BoogaSuga: 3/31/2020 4:37:53 PM" exotics should be powerful " So... Bring back d1 thorn, because it's also an exotic and it should also be " powerful " Give ace stowable Mori rounds again, and give it 92 damage on precision again, which would inherently increase range due to drop off. What about vex mythoclast? Pocket infinity? No land beyond? TLW? Hawkmoon? Universal remote? Dregs promise? Plan C? Icebreaker? Invective? Gjallarhorn? Red death? All exotic. All got nerfed or adjusted in some way or form. Whether it be through a general archetype range or damage reduction, special ammo adjustment, etc. They were all touched somehow. What about current D2 exotics that got touched? Rebuff izanagi, whisper, anarchy, sleeper, queen breaker, promo lens, etc. They are also exotics and should remain powerful and unadulterated. *Edit* Let's not even get started with armor... All y'all in here complaining about stompee, anteaus wards, one eye mask, controverse hold, etc. They're exotic. They're supposed to be powerful. It's ok if it's a low skill ceiling weapon, but anything else it to strong huh? Y'all some hypocritical ass people. 🤣

Agreed

9 RepliesIt's not really hardlight over all, it's the boost to the 600 rpm ar class as a whole. People that are lower in skill, or people's that don't want to work as hard don't like or want to use precision weapons like hand cannons. They don't want to have to hit crits, time shots, be able to be accurate in the air, they just want a run gun. And that's fine in and of itself, but it removes any desire to become more skilled with more demanding weapons. Hand cannons are basically outclassed at all ranges unless you are really good with them. Rapid scouts are still nothing special, heavy pulses are still in a weird spot, and so are the rapid ones. Overall, I personally feel like this change has severely restricted the acceptable weapons to carry and removed the importance of personal skill: it's now about getting first shot, rather than being a better shot. The real slap in the @$$ though is once the streamers and tryhards all adopt these guns, we'll be right back to where we were, just with different weapons. I predict the very people defending spud guns now are going to be the ones that end up asking for a nerf the hardest in the end. Maybe not, time will tell.

And what go back playing with Nerf Super Soakers? No thanks, I’ll stick to my NerfRival.

It’s fine

No....... not...... never........hate this suggestion

Suros Regime: *laughs*

So use it and have fun!!!! Just because your ass just got tore up with it in quick play you gotta run to the forums and cry for a nerf. How about we bet you a ba-ba or pacifier instead?
-
Give the gun some of its initial screen shake which was there to keep the gun balanced. Let's be honest even after the screen shake nerf they gun was still barely seen in the crucible. The auto buff is wat mad everyone pick it up. Give the gun back its screen shake, make it require some what more skill to you(i.e skilled hand to aim)
-
Yea!! And then next Suros! Then rockets and emotes and emblems and nerf the f#$king ghost too. Anything else...oh yea grenades, they blow s#it up.
-
Let me guess... you want it nerfed because you like hand cannons and side arms. For Christ sake, it’s ok to use other things. Try it out, you may like it.

Posts like this is exactly how we got here. Isn't it ironic? Don't you think... It's like raaaiiinnnn on your wedding day!!! It's the free riiiiiide....

18 RepliesIf anything the double damage on ricochet rounds should be addressed first. Then see where it goes after that.
