Please consider adding the feature of region locking a player when they go to select a PvP game mode from the director.
It would be appreciated since all of your current playlists (even ones that say it prioritizes connection) still match make players across the globe; allowing for super high ping lobbies which at this point everyone becomes a trading-robot & then typically people lag out or leave due to the pleasant experience.
Please consider...
Region locking players ( NA / SA / EU / Asia / Oceania ) ...
Prioritize connections in every playlist ...
Sandbox QOL update (even if it just adjusts/address subclass imbalances, not weapons) ...
Consider re-rendering the community's favorite D1 maps.. (since you lack the funds for new 'game designers', just re-skin/scale old assets (this should be normal practice by now)) ...
(( REGION LOCKING: REGARDS ONLY PC PLAYERS ))

Edited by Pringles: 2/16/2020 5:58:47 AM100% agreed. I think this is the most crucial problem in pvp than any other issues. Unbalanced mathmaking, overpowered abilities or weapons, those are understandable. Nothing can be perfect, and it takes time to balance the game. And we know dedicated serves aren't realistic. But region locking, this is really fundamental for better game experiences in pvp.

17 RepliesNO. Terrible idea. I play PvP to play with different people ..not all the same people .

I wish they did, but considering people have been complaining about this thing since D1 i don’t see them ever acknowledging how incredibly laggy this game is. I live in Northern Europe, and on this week alone i’ve already matched players from Brazil, Chile, Japan, Mauritius, South Africa, US, Indonesia, and multiple Middle Eastern countries. It happens all the time, and ruins the experience every single time. The game can’t even handle connections within Europe properly as pretty much every single time i match players from Southern Europe there are noticeable delays, players don’t die from things they should’ve, or even worse you can even get a complete lack of hit detection.... This happens in EU lobbies while playing wired on a fibre line thanks to this P2P-system and incredibly bad netcode, and yet they think it is somehow ok to almost regularly match me with North American or Middle Eastern players when they can’t create even a remotely consistent experience with players living on the same continent as i am.
