Sell the rights to destiny please. You cleaning lack any vision or passion for this game as 1 you don’t play it or the sandbox would never have got this bad. 2 you refuse to listen to anyone but crybaby streamers who don’t speak for anyone but their own wallets “probably why you get along so well”. 3 you think content is hard when you have employees doing vidocs in the pjs yup you guys have it so hard.
Sell the rights to destiny please.
Dahell? That's like telling an artist to hand over his art designs because you dislike the way how they look. You clearly have no idea of ownership.

Yeah so it becomes a shitty shooter like COD or worse yet Apex Legends.
-
Give it to Epic Games 👀
-
You have idea what you are talking about ,Destiny is the smoothest shooter out there ! Maybe do some research before you write posts .

I would sacrifice some of that smoothness for a game I could become emmerced in, a game that had a story that you played out not opened a website to read about while you played a poor waffer thin shell of that story.
PlatinumGames could have with some input from other studios. Or DICE. DICE & PlatinumGames using Frostbite engine......
Ok that’s a nice fantasy scenario, but if they could do it they would. Destiny is a hugely successful game with a unique model and the fact there aren’t hundreds of clones says something, it’s not easy to do. Borderlands is the only one relatively close.

Well said. Been saying the same thing for a while now. But I just don’t know what bungies end game is. It must be this ip they are working on for NetEase

Joseph Statin did amazing with the Halo Franchise. He is an awesome Storyteller and his original vision for Destiny was awesome as well. (Check it out for yourself. His vision for Destiny was leaked)

The same people, such as Jason Jones that reportedly took a strong dislike to the flow of the game in Joe’s vision are still in their positions at Bungie. Destiny is the game Bungie management want it to be. It’s just a shame it’s not what it could have been. -
Luke needs to go.

Edited by drew012278: 12/2/2019 4:40:38 PMJoe did the cinematics and the music. And yes he did a fantastic job.....BUT he didn’t design the game at all. And as far as Joe goes he will never be back he had to sue Bungie to get his money
Joe did the cinematics and the music. And yes he did a fantastic job.....BUT he didn’t design the game at all. And as far as Joe goes he will never be back he had to sue Bungie to get his money
Joe Staten wrote the ‘story’ arc for Destiny however after seeing the supercut Joe had prepared Bungie senior management inc Jason Jones didn’t like the way the game flowed. Joe left and effectively the story left with him. I don’t believe that Joe sued Bungie. The writing team were put onto working on the grimoire while the story was ripped apart and had parts hacked together by the replacement writing team (that had no game writing experience) called blacksmith, which included Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy. The audio director that wrote much of the music was Marty O’Donnell. Marty did sue Bungie after he was fired as they attempted to withhold things he was entitled to. -
Edited by drew012278: 12/5/2019 7:42:51 PMHe did he had to get the value of his shares back. Along with Marty. Because they meaning Bungie didn’t feel there was enough left of the story he wrote. But again my point to this whole thing he didn’t have anything to do with how the game played

But again my point to this whole thing he didn’t have anything to do with how the game played
It’s my understanding that Joe left, no lawsuit. Marty was fired and denied share options, was a lawsuit. Joe was creative director. He wasn’t responsible for how the game played, but for how the game was designed, how it was structured and flowed. Bungie were responsible for subsequently carving up the story and altering the entire arc of the game to only include the Exo beginning for all ‘races’. -
That’s all I was trying to say. He had nothing to do with game play hell end of the day it wasn’t even his creation
He did he had to get the value of his shares back
You sure that wasn’t Marty ? -
But in your defense Marty’s was way more public Marty did that to gain some traction in his case HE leaked it

It was both individuals.
