Remember When Reset Day Was Actually About Real Vendors...Not Eververse???? (1300+ UPVOTES AND NOTHING FROM BUNGIE)
Remember....
...going to Arcite to check the crucible weapon rolls? Can't do that now. Theres only 1 new gun with a fixed set of rolls.
...going to the Vanguard frame to check the vanguard weapons? Can't do that now. Theres only 1 new gun with a fixed set of rolls.
...going to Factions each week? Now they don't even exist.
...Banshee having arms day? Now he still only sells year 2 stuff and we are on year 3.
...when Iron Banner actually got new weapons? Yeah not anymore.
...when vendors in the tower were actually useful? They haven't been in a long time.
I get Eververse being an important vendor because Bungie is a company. Companies need money. Duh. But now on reset day everyone goes to the tower and sees what updated in the microtransaction vendor rather than real vendors. It's an embarrassment that eververse is the top priority for Bungie.
Edit: As of 7:16 P.M. EST on 11/6 bungie replies to a topic right under mine with hella less upvotes. Goes to show their bias and not wanting to address criticism
Edit 2: Bungie we are at 1189 upvotes. If you won't respond to me, are you really going to ignore 1189 other people? That's a sizable amount for the forums.

Event engrams being removed Season engrams not containing anything from this or even last season? The fact we feel the need to complain about a cosmetic store that started as a simple 3 BOXES of loot a week. Which is now 80% of the expansion loot. Fun.

I'm pretty sure Bungie has finally given up on this game. The game is an absolute mess right now and Bungie is not saying hardly anything. Reminds me of what happened to Anthem. Loading times are horrible, constant black screens for 10-20 seconds for every activity. Bugs and glitches and cheaters are running wild. Soooooo many bugs. The eververse sucks. It sucks so much even a guy at Forbes wrote an article about it. Lol. And Bungie seems to be doing absolutely nothing.

3 RepliesThe only reason I come these forums is because if my passion for destiny 1 after 3500hrs its kind hard to cut such a great experience out your life. Reading these forums is like destiny is one big contradiction. Bungie make one of the best fps, coop games of the ps4 generation and then completly alienate the people that buy and support thier compony with thier laziness, ignorance and greed. It's a joke I'm done giving bungie money my destiny ended when forsaken dropped.I went to the moon 5 years ago and for as long people buy eververse, bungie will keep selling that's basic economics.

Remember Tier 12 gear, and being able to adjust Mobility, Armor, and Recovery on the fly in the skill tree? I don't understand why fast cooldowns are such a problem, but slow cooldowns makes the game boring.

They are too greedy to worry with vendors other than Eververse and it has shown time and time again. They may make some changes in the future and say they have heard our complaints but then they will inch back to where the store is now or worse yet still not have any of the other vendors refreshed. Don't forget content is hard to make. That is a comment I would never expect to hear from a developer trying to get more players and sell their game yet I did.

9 RepliesI’m glad that this is getting attention, but I can’t help but point out that a lot of things are suffering because of Eververse. We get a dungeon and the only reward in it is... a pulse rifle from the moon weapon set. Our raid armor is... recycled Eververse armor. Our seasonal event is... last year’s event with a year 1 weapon as the reward. Altar of Escalation Protocol weapons are... dirty, thorny, existing weapons. Vex Offensive loot is... just old crap with leaves added for some reason. Bungie is putting way too much effort into the loot that can be monetized, and very little effort into the earnable loot. My god... it’s lazy to just use Osiris weapons for Vex Offensive, but it’s a whole new level of laziness to only give us 3/12 weapons. Why not bring them all forward, at least?

I miss D1 resets. It took 15 minutes just to go through all the different vendors in the tower each week. RiP

They are afraid to have to re balance the game. Adding in all new weapons with the artifact as well would have put them in a frenzy (seeing how they are so slow to react to or even think about outcomes of the weapons)
