I think this clip sums it up... https://youtu.be/lEOOZDbMrgE

When will people realize that nothing will be truly balanced? They need to buff and nerf things constantly to keep a rotating and dynamic play environment to keep players interested and active. We all remember what D2Y1 was. MIDA, MIDA, MIDA, and MIDA. It was bland for a year or so then they changed things up when they added new weapons, reverted the gun system to how it was in d1 (went back from bring called kinetic -> primary, etc.) and new exotics were added in. Forsaken came out with OEM and by god that is the most hideous thing I've seen in a while, aesthetic wise is meh, but gameplay wise? Holy crap it's nuts. It took a year for them to realize how hard OEM impacts gunfights. Wormhusk? Took them 2 months or so to adjust it. Voidwalker? 3 to 4 months. As much as the memes of "Hunters are always crying" are annoying, they are mostly untrue. I see more posts and comments from Titans that are constantly complaining about Hunters, and it's been this way since the beginning of D1. You guys are salty that one of your exotics are getting adjusted? Welcome to our world, pal. Hunters go through it, Warlocks go through it, you aren't special. It's a constant cycle. You had a year in the limelight. Time to cycle to the next phase of crucible loadouts so things don't get stale again.

Get rid of the ether ritual on the dreaming city make Petra sell dark fragments for legendary shards or glimmer and make lost sectors actually give you good loot that's not to much to ask

Edited by FLEXX: 10/19/2019 9:01:09 PMAfter this patch note i really don’t see any issues getting fixed. Nerfing in the wrong way and all the other supers being underpowered. Nerfing to the point where the game is not even enjoyable anymore.

The crucible/iron banner is really F'd up. One punch melee and fusion F'n rifles everywhere, camping scout rifles in every match. IMO get the iron banner rewards and quit. Not my style of game play. No skill in it. Its not fun IMO.

11 Replies“Fixed an issue where we inadvertently made the game fun”.

2 RepliesLets be real this game has been as good as its ever going to get, the nerfs obviously will never stop, the devs dont know how to fix the bugs in the game, the code doesnt read properly so your perks work about half the time. If your okay with the game in its current state good on ya if not trust me it aint getting any better.

5 RepliesQuick question for the undying title it needs the collection completed, say that i am missing randy’s throwing knife and the ship and then the season ends before i get them, will i still be able to get the title in the next season when i finish getting the scout and the ship? Just wondering if i don’t finish it in time?

2 RepliesIs Divinity still crashing games? I wouldn't know, I don't have it. No mention of it in the TWAB. Must be fine.

1 ReplyNo wonder yall gonna make a different game this game ain't gonna last long five year my ass

1 ReplyEdited by LouieMags4: 10/18/2019 1:31:10 AMArmor affinity is bad. Remove. Giving the illusion of freedom while actually taking it away. Very sneaky

4 RepliesStop nerfing PvE!!! By this time next year Mario will be more powerful than us!
-
5 RepliesSo: - nerf to bottom tree striker - nerf to OEM - no more 1 2 punch with Greaves combo Please tell me you're buffing: - all our other trash tier exotics to be actually viable in Crucible - our arc class other 2 trees since they are underperforming in every way in every game mode The only viable end game super we have is: Bubble.. Everything else is better done by the other classes.. Why is it OK for a hunter to one shot golden hawk bosses but Titans with greaves and 1 2 punch isn't???

4 RepliesNew exotic idea! “Nerf gun” It’s nerf or nothing! Weapon archetype: Auto rifle Primary slot Kinetic damage Magazine- 40 Intrinsic perk- Nerfed Weakens enemies weapon damage and armor for a short period of time. Trait- Shoots foam darts. This weapon will have a catalyst. Catalyst- Heavy nerf The Nerfed perk lasts a little bit longer.

2 RepliesEdited by DeathPony07: 10/20/2019 9:57:55 AMYou guys has Destiny perfect with Age of Triumph. Why was it so hard to copy/paste all the D1 systems into D2. Infusion, armor stats, weapon perks, factions, skeleton keys, skill trees, ability cooldowns, weapon perks, etc. Put Mobility, Armor, and Recovery adjustments in the skill trees where they belong. Give armor D1 stat numbers so we can have Tier 12 builds again. Reduce the cost of upgrading and masterworking by 90%. Every season should have a new vendor reset like it did D1.

1 ReplyBungie great job with IB, the power grind and armor 2.no. You did a wonderful job of making the game much more fun. Being free of activism really has made it clear how awesome you are at thinking things out, keeping the player first and making destiny an engaging fun experience. Bravo. More time gates and barriers to rewards and more versions of the same mode on the same maps...that's awesome!!!

Edited by Wardog Keith: 10/19/2019 6:56:42 PMWhy does every tough enemy have a ridiculous stomp. The kind that hits no matter how high or how far away. Are you not able to come up with something different ?

4 RepliesRegular Gambit shouldn’t have PvP level advantage. Gambit Prime should. Change it

3 RepliesEdited by WP ScorpionWind: 10/18/2019 11:25:40 PMCozmo this was kind of like one of those situations where youtuber's create a 15 minute video for 5 minutes of information simply to get the monetization out of it. In this case it was a long explanation of why the system was created when really no one on any of the multiple posts about the energy affinity that's getting 400-800 likes is really going to care. I respect that you all want to stand by you're decission but no matter how you slice the pie, the player base isn't happy with it and you really just need to do what the community has asked. Whether that's remove the affinity or do the other option (and my personal preference) Make it so all mods are available but those being used get a discount of say 1 energy if used. I'd also like to respond to a few things in the This Week At Bungie 10/15/19 post which I have done under the spoilers tag. I would strongly ask that you take a look. (This was done to minimize the length of this comment as otherwise it would be long.)

Giving mods an energy type allows us to limit the scope of combinations within a single armor piece (making their use cases easier to predict and balance for)...
This system was presented as a way of creating greater customization, and build diversity in which this contradicts. Furthermore as many of the vets of D2 pre New Light already had all the mods of 1.0 in surplus through many hours of grind and then on release of 2.0 you (Bungie) essentially told us that we did it all for nothing as those mods were now useless and that we would have to start from scratch.
...and also gives us room for other perks and mods (for example, artifact mods) that break these restrictions.
If this was to be accurate then such mods would have to be present, and as of current I have not seen such mods, or if I have they did not appear to be restriction breaking.
This resulted in a huge amount of information overload, and also made it hard to quickly find, and change out, mods that you were seeking.
I personally feel like this is an excuse. I have felt that the current system leaves each category extremely lacking of options. Furthermore there are a large number of alternatives to this that would not result in making such a large limitation.
We have seen feedback suggesting that, instead of locking mods into an energy type, the affinity should simply be a discount on the energy cost of the mod. That’s actually what the broad-category mods (such as Rifle Loader, Precision Weapon Targeting, etc.) are meant to represent: a higher cost for gaining the benefit with a weapon not normally associated with that energy type.
Whether or not this statement is true (which if I'm being honestly I don't feel like it to be so, and is instead trying to use it as a way out) that system is a totally different system from what we ask. One penalizes you for using a mod not related to the class and restricts what you further by costing you more energy, the other rewards you for using a mod related to that class and allows for use of additional more potent mods. The latter, which we are asking for, would in addition actually follow the premise of Armor 2.0 being focused on better build diversity and customization, where as the former does not.
3 RepliesMatchmaking set to similar skill is a straight up lie. Team balancing is a joke. OEM needs to be changed ASAP. Recluse is a -blam!-ing joke of a gun. Let’s nerf 2 subclasses that don’t need it. Iron banner isn’t worth the effort it requires. 450+ tokens and 3 enhanced perks is a smack in the face. What do these MTX pay for?
-
2 RepliesYou do realize you just called every destiny player stupid right. It’s sad you have enough confidence people will buy your junk that you have no problem insulting our intelligence.

1 ReplyJesus... It's like bungle actually believes the ridiculous crap that they spew all over these TWABS. Player freedom via restrictions... good idea you absolute idiots. You even admit that tweaking the collection menu was so hard it couldn't be done in time.. a basic UI change.. Incompetence and laziness. And as usual the nerf train rolls round again , because while everyone knows you guys are crap at designing this game, you're AMAZING when it comes to making the player experience worse 👍 I just can't believe how blatantly ignorant this studio is to its playerbase, while somehow maintaining an air of superiority which is in unearned in every way. They commit to choices you would expect of a five year old child while assuring everyone that we are on track towards "the way destiny should be"...even though literally everyone can see through to their stupidity immediately..
hard to believe these are fully grown men and women steering this sinking mess
3 RepliesSo you want to give people more freedom by restrictions? That is certainly bungle logic
