Shot my friend clean through the wall
Let me be clear, I am not accusing anyone of cheating. This is from my point of view, in a private rumble match with my clanmates. I haven't seen anything like this so I thought I'd make a post.
If it matters, Fusion Rifle is "The Wizened Rebuke" with Tap the Trigger, Under Pressure, Projection Fuse, Red Dot Micro, range mw. I know the perks add "accuracy" aka bullet magnetism/aim assist, but not to that degree, right?

Blame P2P. It's trash. I shoot people from around the corner all the time and from behind cover. It happens to me too. I get sniped or fusioned or whatnot when I'm clearly behind cover. All. The. Time. That's why I never take PvP too seriously. You could be hitting all your shots clean to the head in one game and the next game you suddenly have no aim assist and can't hit the broad side of a barn yard or your bullets magically miss even when you're aiming at the crits. PvP is a mess.

This happened to a friend of mine in Gambit a while back. He got shot through a wall with Sleeper. Looks like they still havent fixed the issue.

My guess is that this was just insane lag. It's possible that your character wasn't behind the wall on the server like it appeared to be on your screen. Other than that, I have no clue. This is by far the most blatant error I've seen with the game's shooting mechanics. People often talk about shooting or getting shot behind corners, but it's usually minimal. I've never seen anything quite this severe.

Edited by PilksUK: 9/6/2019 12:34:54 PMLooks like peer to peer lag caused a delay your end so your updated player data was delayed along the ralay so his side of things your character might of been in his line of sight this is why PvP in destiny is trash it's far too inconsistent... Add ontop all the other issues...
